31 ppg-as the main option in the triangle and playing of the ball i think he could average 31 easily

5 ast-wont be the main playmaker so his assists will go down

5 reb-about were it always is

47% FG-last year when hamblen installed the triangle and put kobe in the post hes fg% in the second half of the season shot up to 46% look for more of that next season

would kobe really want to score more this season then last, he litterally was the only scoring option last season and he still only averaged 27.6 ppg, why would he have to score more, if this years team has more options. players these days only go for 30 plus if their in a tracy macgrady orlando situations.

Shows how little you know, since he was the only scoring option last year teams would double/tripple team him. With more options this year I think it will give him a lil more room to operate..

I think he will avg 28 ppg with at least 6 or 7 ast and rbds. As long as the team chemistry stays good, I think Kobe won't be the only one with impressive numbers.

I think similar stats to last season with one more assist, less minutes and a better FG%. I don't see a reason why they should change too much. The only stat I hope to change is his game's played. That could make or break the season, as I believe it did last season(along with Lamar, Caron and Rudy leaving). I am hoping for at least 75 games this season from Kobe!

    30.5 PPG
    6.5 RPG
    5.0 APG
    46.8% FG
    35% 3PT

This year I expect Kobe Bryant to be in the post a lot on offense. He's bulked up again, and the Triangle is going to be designed to have him and Odom as the main points of attack. With Kobe in the post more, he should shoot a higher FG% and have more opportunities at offensive rebounds. Increasing his FG% will increase his scoring total, and more offensive rebounds will increase his rebounding total.

His assists will likely decrease, because the Triangle is designed to move the ball around a lot leading to the extra pass. So Kobe might get the offensive play initiated, but the assisted pass will likely be the end result of the player he initially passed it to.

I think he'll average something like this:

    ppg-2
    rpg-1
    apg-1
    fg%-12%

    pooooooooooop

    30 ppg
    7 rpg
    5 apg
    47% FGs
    38% 3pts

I think this could be Kobe's best year as a pro. He's going to be the main focus point in the triangle and he won't have to worry about having to essentially play point guard since they have someone who is actually capable of doing it in Aaron McKie. Beyond that, he should post up a lot more since he's bulked up, which will increase his FG% and rebounding. And, since they have a better PG, assists will likely go down to around the 5ish area. All in all though, Kobe could be looking at an MVP year as long as the Lakers can get into the playoffs around a 6-8 seed.
