Not trying to be a troll here, but I think this season is going to be very entertaining and a close race between all 3 of these clubs.

The Kings brought in Abdur Rahim who is very solid along with Bonzi Wells right? They are both very talented players. Rahim has never played on a winning team while Bonzi is somewhat of a cancer. I wonder how he will effect the team

The Lakers have Kobe so they will always have a chance at contending. Between having a healthy Kobe and Phil Jackson back this is a good combo for a playoff bound squad.

The Warriors have Baron Davis who when healthy is one of the most exciting players in the game today. He has brought tremendous leadership and an aura of confidence that has been contagious to the rest of the team. They finished the season 18-10 since aqquiring Davis and finished 14-5 with Baron starting including wins over Sacramento, Houston, and Seattle all on the road.

So what do you think? Who will be the top team in CA this year?

    Kings, Warriors, Lakers.

Kings will edge out Warriors but both will make playoffs.

Lakers on the other hand, won't.

Agreed. Remember, those games that the Warriors played last year didn't mean anything and the media is already putting so much pressure on the Warriors to have a great season. I still think they could slip into the playoffs. The Lakers however are in for yet another long season, which is fine by me!

I agree, how can we be a surprise team if everyone is picking us? We'll have to see how the Warriors play under pressure i guess.

I somewhat disagree. Yes, it did not matter whether the Warriors won or lost except to get a better draft pick, but we did not. That has to stand for something. Plus when you take into account the teams we beat and what they had at stake. For instance, didn't we beat Sacramento twice at the end of the season? Didn't they have something to fight for as far as seeding was concerned? How about Seattle and Houston. We even beat the Suns. Maybe it was them we beat twice. I dont remember. All I rememeber is we beat several western conference playoff teams while the season still had meaning to them and that makes those games mean something. Granted we had no real pressure, but we could have also just rolled over, but we did not...

^Werent the Kings nowhere near full strength in those two games at the end of the season? Sounds like youre trying to make too much out of a couple of games to me. The W's are good though, thats certain. They defintely made the transition from being a bad team to a good team. All that being said, the Kings have an incredible amount of firepower and I think it seperates them from the rest of the cali teams.
