I bought the CBS Sportsline.com mag the other day, because I wanted to read the team previews and look at their rankings. Do not buy this magazine. Here's some reasons why. 1. They have Emeka Okafor ranked above guys like Ray Allen, Jermaine O'neal, and Gilbert Arenas. 2. On the list of top 40 centers they have Vladimir Radmanovic (who is not a center AT ALL) listed as 17th. 3. It contains statements like: "The Lakers have Kobe Bryant, so they are always a contender. But can Phil coach this team??" (Did they not watch the Lakers last year? 4. On the last page they have a listing of last years standing. The Bobcats are listed as "The Charlotte Hornets" with a record of 18-64. These are just a few of the crappy points of this mag. Save your $4.99. If you know of any decent fantasy mags, post them here.
Didn't the CBS annual use to be Basketball News? Their contents are eeriely similar. Well, I bought Athlon Pro Basketball annual a few days ago, and it seems alright. Their previews are a bit outdated (missed signings of Finley, Van Exel, Derek Anderson, Doug Christie and Aaron McKie, among others), but they had a top 30 listing of every position for fantasy. I won't comment about it in detail but I'll post the top 10 shooting guard rankings. If you think they are on point, go buy it. If not, don't bother. 1-Dwyane Wade 2-Kobe Bryant 3-Ray Allen 4-Vince Carter 5-Manu Ginobili 6-Jason Richardson 7-Steve Francis 8-Andre Igoudala 9-Caron Butler 10-Larry Hughes

My condolences to their families . Here is the top ten list of sg for the CBS mag. 1. Kobe Bryant 2. Dwyane Wade 3. Ray Allen 4. Manu Ginobili 5. Richard Hamilton 6. Michael Redd 7. Vince Carter 8. Joe Johnson 9. Jason Richardson 10. Larry Hughes They had Igoudala listed as 17th. Butler was listed as a sf (as he should be) and he was 17th there. Francis was a pg and was 11th.

I do agree that Igoudala and Butler shouldn't be anywhere near the top 15, but Redd is a pretty superficial guy. He scored 23ppg, but doesn't give you anything else. His threes have also dropped from 182 to 127 to 104. I won't put him in the top 10. Rip should be top 10, but his lack of threes is pretty detrimental.
