Rosenhaus needs to let his players talk for themselves

finally someone tells Rosenhauls that he is doing this the wrong way. I have no problem with requesting a trade or even a new contract if the player deserves it as long as you keep it underwraps. This guy seems to eat up the media attention.

Why would you blame a player if his desire for a new contract becomes public? There are a lot of "NFL insiders" trying to get the latest scoop on this type of news. Who's to say that it's the player's fault if the news is not kept "underwraps." If I'm a GM, I might have someone in the front office leak the news to the press because the public usually sides with the multimillion dollar sports franchise instead of the player in these matters. Before you blame a player because his story became a big story, you should know and be able to prove that he was the one who revealed the matter to the press. Of course, this doesn't apply to Terrell Owens. You can blame him for global warming for all I care. I'm sure his ginormous ego isn't helping our atmosphere.

A player's desire for a trade or a new contract going public is one thing... But going on TV and giving interviews to every single sports journalist in the free world is another thing. Rosenhaus talks about his clients' "needs" to anyone and everyone who will listen.

It's one thing to go public. Is another thing to pour gas on the fire.

Thanks PA for making my point.dolfan I never blamed the players for wanting more money. Rosenhaus goes on TV all the time. I've seen this guy on Letterman,SC.Rome,PTI. He is using all this for TV attention. I think this is the best statment on Drew.
