<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">TUCSON - Amar? Stoudemire is out for an indeterminate amount of time and could be facing surgery because of the left knee that has been troubling him this summer. A Tucson specialist examined Stoudemire's knee today after Stoudemire practiced at the morning session. He did not return for the evening practice but remains at the team hotel. The team's medical staff planned to meet later tonight to decide the next step for Stoudemire. "We're going through the evaluation process and we're going to make sure we have all the information before a determination is made to pursue treatment, possible surgery (and) what the safest and best return is for him to come back to basketball," Suns President and General Manager Bryan Colangelo said.</div> Source

Well, you can put phoenix down in power ranking quite a bit now.</div> Considering no one knows how serious his injury Is why would anyone do that? There is still a month to go till the season starts so It's possible he may not miss any games. Who knows.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MTran:</div><div class="quote_post">touchy arent we? having to resort to name calling...</div> Why did you respond to a subject that you had no business, or knowledge of responding too?! Amare's knee bothered him for a majority of the summer. Even with the threat of this type of injury the Suns still signed him long term. I would not resort to name calling if you were not so ignorant. Please do not try to act like Amare duped the orginization. That was not the case.
Four months is half the season. Sucks for Pheonix. I would forget division title or home court advantage. Without Amare, the offense looks seriously weak, maybe a 95 point per game team. A knee injury is serious, but at a young age, amare will be able to recover from it.
yea I heard about it a while ago, but found out today it was 4 months. OUCH! really feel bad for all the suns fans. they have one of the top 5 funnest (the second funnest for me) teams to watch. with amare out, they should still do good i guess. Nash, marion, and ...damn i feel bad.
<font face=""Courier New"">Bad news for Phoenix indeed. I was excited to see how the Amare, KT, Marion, Bell and Nash would do this season but I guess I'll have to wait for the 2nd half of the season to see if they can take their game to the next level. I guess this means that the battle for the division title will be tighter than most people thought. I guess Kings fans will rejoice at the Suns fans expense.</font>
tomio, not if we get 4th seed and phoenix gets 5th. But I think for some reason we had the edge over phoenix last year. We would have beat them if we got through Dallas (even w/o howard our only PF).

phoenix has lost q rich, amare, s hunter and j johnson in the span of three months. way to go suns. so much for executive of the year, mr. colangelo. this is going to kill my fantasy league team at least for the nest 3-4 months
Man this is going to hurt the Sun`s early in the season, hopefully rehab for Amare goes well. Nash needs Amare, I think Nash could need some major help in his absence.
man.... after amare comes back, its not hes going to give 25pg right away.... hes probaly going to have problems for a little while (1-3 weeks) so you can basicaly say hes gone 5 months....
