Last year was really the first one where Iverson made news only for what he did on the court. The off-court drama and public coaching clashes evaporated as Iverson enjoyed perhaps his finest year, which included an All-Star game MVP award and a 60-point game. After once asking, "How can I make my teammates better by practicing?" Iverson finally discovered he really can make a difference. "When everybody sees that I'm working and ready to get at it, I guess it makes it that much easier for them to get involved with everything going on," Iverson said</div> Source
Well Larry Brown must be spewing!!! Nah for real it shows Iverson has matured as a player and as a person. I think he believes they can win it all this year and I know he does not want to end his career without a title. By emphasising practice he will get everyone to play with the heart and spirit that he does and they will go far. Very good news from Allen.
Is it me, or did A.I. say the same thing last year with O`Brien in training camp? But this is all I want to hear from camp this year. Good news. I want to hear that are team is clicking on everything.
^ Yeah, but he never said he wanted to kiss O'Brien on the mouth though. But even though this sounds like a broken record from A.I, this is the coach Iverson always wanted after Brown, so I'm taking his word this time.
