Recommendation: "I don't want to stand in his way if he doesn't feel comfortable," coach Larry Brown said of Davis. "I'd be disappointed. But you don't want somebody who doesn't want to be here. If it's not in his best interests, we'll move on." Davis is set to make $13.7 million this season, which is the final year of his contract. Chicago is expected to sign Davis, if the Knicks buy out the contract. </div>

Good news that Larry Brown seems to not want to keep Davis if he isn't happy in New York, hopefully he will come back to Chi town.

It is great news for the Bulls if the Knicks agree to Antonio's demands. He's creating a dilemma in New York, because Isiah Thomas doesn't want to give in, but Larry Brown doesn't want to coach a player who doesn't want to be there. If the Knicks do agree, this deal looks even worse for Isiah Thomas.

On another note does anyone else wonder why Curry doesnt take the DNA test privately? Shouldnt he be concerned about his health?

I think Curry is more concerned about the Benjamins then his health.

Which is quite sad and somewhat worrisome that he won't take for his health.

I’m praying this happens, Antonio Davis is my boy he is a hard nosed defender, and never backs down in the low post. He is great in the community, and locker room, as well as being a great guy for Chandler to continue to learn under.

Antonio is a great guy and a great player. I respect Larry Brown for not wanting what Antonio doesnt want, If I were in his shoes I'd do the same thing. Though I am a little dissapointed in Antonio, but he's got his priorities straight, family does come first.

I'd love to see Antonio back in Chicago next year. He gives them veteran leadership that they really don't have without him and he's a great prescence in the locker room. Hopefully the Knicks buy him out so the Bulls can land him for another year.

How do we know that he didn't take it and when he got the results they were not in his favor, and this is the reason he won't take it for the Bulls(or any team for that matter)

you'd think, with the death of Collier from Atlanta, would pursuade Curry a whole lot more.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There is a possibility the Knicks could release Davis. There is a feeling around the league that Thomas, who has been at odds with the Bulls' organization, will wait until the final week of preseason to waive the forward.

No Thomas ( Knicks GM) I assume he is at odds with our mangement because he wanted to keep Davis not send him back to Chi-town. I thought the same thing as you when I read the article at first however.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Thomas stopped short of criticizing Bulls GM John Paxson for revealing on Thursday that Curry had had an episode last October where he complained about chest pain and lightheadedness. Thomas claims the Knicks were aware of the previously unreported incident.

"He checked out fine," Thomas said. "They found it was more or less him being tired and him not eating."

Curry is upset that the Bulls are discussing his health and added that he and his agent Leon Rose will talk today. There is a possibility Curry could take legal action against the Bulls. Meanwhile, Thomas seemed to suggest Paxson is trying to cover his tracks because of the criticism the GM has received in light of the trade.

"John is doing the best job that he possibly can do with the situation that he was dealt with," Thomas said. "I have great respect for him and I wish him and the Bulls' organization nothing but success." </div>
