look man......i`ve seen(i was actually there in philly) brent barry take off 2ft outside the free throw line wearing JEANS AND TIMBERLAND BOOTS and stuff it !

he never won any dunk contests and got biased 50`s.........to say that is an insult to basketball.

jordan has the best hangtime of any player that ever played in the nba

(a streetball guy from nyc called "Helicopter" Knowings is the best leaper)

    That's Dwight Howard too ^^^

And I refuse to take you seriously if you have Josh Smith as a top 10 dunker of all time..

BTW, this is both in-game and dunk contest..
1 - Vince Carter - turned heads in the 2000 dunk contest
2 - Michael Jordan - 43' vert is incredible and had the creativity and strength to do almost anything he wanted in the air..
3 - Julius Erving - the pioneer of the acrobatic dunk, plus I'm jealous of his baseball mit sized hands..
4 - Dominique Wilkins - liked how he could finesse and power dunk..

So why is lebron number 7 if you were looking for original dunks? All he does is jump high.

not that he is top 10. But to mention all of these young recent dunkers and not mention jamal crawford.

I am talking about 'in game' crawford has thrown it off the glass to him self in two half court sets that i know of. THat counts for creativity.

Drexler deerves more credit than you guys are giving him, Richard Jefferson deserves less.

I wont rank them but these are the best
Kobe, Jordan, Wilkins, Carter, Francis, Amare, Shawn Kemp before he found Burger King, and Lebron has the physical ability to be on this list, but he has to show us more

I knew you were 14 before I even checked.

Wow, we got a couple Steve Francis' here too. I like him, but in reality I don't think he's even Top 25 in the history of the NBA. In the dunk contest he just does the same thing, he doesn't have any recognition if you know what I mean. You've heard of Jordan's 'Kiss the Rim', and Vince's wrong-way 360, and Dominque's windmil...what does Stevie have?

^^ 360s might not have been MJs style.
