<div class="quote_poster">Quoting devin:</div><div class="quote_post">Jordan is the best player to play in the nba but who dunks better is my opinion. When it comes to hops, jordan obviously has it. But when it comes to serious showcasing, the above players are better. Jordan goes behind the free throw line to win every slam dunk contest, the judges gives him a biased 50 everytime he does that. While Dominique's dunks were obviously more stylish, original and appealing.</div> look man......i`ve seen(i was actually there in philly) brent barry take off 2ft outside the free throw line wearing JEANS AND TIMBERLAND BOOTS and stuff it ! he never won any dunk contests and got biased 50`s.........to say that is an insult to basketball. jordan has the best hangtime of any player that ever played in the nba (a streetball guy from nyc called "Helicopter" Knowings is the best leaper)
<u>Dunk Contest:</u> 1. J-Rich 2. Vince Carter 3. Michael Jordan 4. Dominique Wilkins 5. Spud Webb 7. Desmond Mason 8. Josh Smith 9. Kobe Bryant 10. Julius Erving In-Game: 1. Kobe Bryant 2. Vince Carter 3. Michael Jordan 4. Dominique Wilkins 5. Josh Smith 6. Tracy McGrady 7. Steve Francis 8. Darryl Dawkins 9. Julius Erving 10. Desmond Mason That's my list, more or less...
For the people who never seen J-Richs head leveled with the rim. <font size=""3""><font color=""Red"">2003 and DC</font></font>
1) Michael Jordan 2) Dominique Wilkins 3) Vince Carter 4) Dr. J 5) Jason Richardson 6) Lebron James 7) Spud Webb 8) Darvin Hamm- nobody said they needed PT 9) Shawn Kemp 10) Kobe Bryant
That's Dwight Howard too ^^^ And I refuse to take you seriously if you have Josh Smith as a top 10 dunker of all time.. BTW, this is both in-game and dunk contest.. 1 - Vince Carter - turned heads in the 2000 dunk contest 2 - Michael Jordan - 43' vert is incredible and had the creativity and strength to do almost anything he wanted in the air.. 3 - Julius Erving - the pioneer of the acrobatic dunk, plus I'm jealous of his baseball mit sized hands.. 4 - Dominique Wilkins - liked how he could finesse and power dunk..
My list is comrised of the best facial dunkers (no paticular order) Darrell Dawkins Shaq julius evring jordan Wilkins Clyde Kobe Vince Kemp pippen
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheChosenOne23:</div><div class="quote_post">if you want to talk about hops then here ya go </div> He has about 8 inches on J-Rich but still wow.

In order: Michael Jordan Julius Erving Dominique Wilkins Darrell Dawkins Vince Carter Clyde Drexler Spud Webb Kobe Bryant Jason Richardson LeBron James
why would <u>anyone</u> have Lebron on their list?? no hate, i'm just curious. Dude hasn't done squat to deserve a top 10 mention..
1: Vince Carter 2: Tracy Mcgrady 3: Kobe Bryant 4: Dwight Howard 5: Jason Richardson 6: Steve Francis 7: Corey Maggette 8: Baron Davis 9: Lebron James 10: Richard Jefferson ~Aseldo
not that he is top 10. But to mention all of these young recent dunkers and not mention jamal crawford. I am talking about 'in game' crawford has thrown it off the glass to him self in two half court sets that i know of. THat counts for creativity. Drexler deerves more credit than you guys are giving him, Richard Jefferson deserves less. I wont rank them but these are the best Kobe, Jordan, Wilkins, Carter, Francis, Amare, Shawn Kemp before he found Burger King, and Lebron has the physical ability to be on this list, but he has to show us more
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Aseldo:</div><div class="quote_post">1: Vince Carter 2: Tracy Mcgrady 3: Kobe Bryant 4: Dwight Howard 5: Jason Richardson 6: Steve Francis 7: Corey Maggette 8: Baron Davis 9: Lebron James 10: Richard Jefferson ~Aseldo</div> I knew you were 14 before I even checked. Wow, we got a couple Steve Francis' here too. I like him, but in reality I don't think he's even Top 25 in the history of the NBA. In the dunk contest he just does the same thing, he doesn't have any recognition if you know what I mean. You've heard of Jordan's 'Kiss the Rim', and Vince's wrong-way 360, and Dominque's windmil...what does Stevie have?
