<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Milwaulkee Journal-Sentinel - Bucks guard T.J. Ford has been given a clean bill of health and may be the only player in camp who is actually enjoying himself. NBA players generally view training camp as a necessary evil, but Ford is overjoyed to be participating. It sure beats the alternative. Ford, of course, knows his return is not the only reason the Bucks are optimistic they can make a run at the Eastern Conference playoffs this season. "I wouldn't say it's only me," Ford said. "I'm not arrogant enough to say that. I think we've got a good team together. We've got Bobby Simmons, we re-signed Michael Redd, Dan Gadzuric, Toni Kukoc, Ervin Johnson. . . we've got a lot of guys who have been in the league a long time even though we're still young. I think it's all of us together. That's the reason I say we're a playoff team." </div> Article
Im glad he's Ok,I really liked him when he entered the league, too bad his first game back AI will have a field day against his team like last year.(I hope) TJ's passing ability is the key for this team to reach heights.I suppose he's gonna get around 25-28 mpg this year.
Guard T.J. Ford, who is listed at all of 165 pounds on the team's official roster, worked out so hard last year attempting to come back from his spinal injury that he was actually losing weight. "I lost a bunch of weight," Ford said. "I probably lost 10 to 15 pounds throughout my whole process of being hurt." But Ford has been able get back to his normal weight. "I got tired of people saying I was skinny," Ford said. Source
Wow, TJ is being very impressive with his work ethic. The fact that he had actually lost weight trying to return to the league is rare, when you see guys gain some pounds after surgery or a long period of rest. If that work ethic translates into the regular season, we might see him being one of the top 5 PGs in the east. With Mo Williams and TJ Ford holding on the point guard position, the Bucks are actually one of the better teams in their conference at the position, although the duo's size is a concern.
