<div class="quote_poster">Quoting GiantMidget:</div><div class="quote_post">Its all a part of the master plan to phase out the lakers from the NBA. Besides, arent the lakers colors purple and yellow? I know you all like to say purple and gold, but lets face it...that color is yellow.</div>
Hahaha! That is funny. When is this so called master plan suppose to take effect. I remember when I was younger listening to the late great Chick Hearn that he called the Laker colors Forum Blue and Yellow. I always said no way it looks purple to me.

I will have to agree with you on the color. It is yellow.

Master plan nice.. Anyway, yeah lakers are more orange/yellowish rather than gold. But the Kings are pushin it with the purple and gold.

the kings jerseys look nothing like the lagirls jerseys, this is just for stupid lagirls fans that want a reason to think they are still worth thinking about, if not their crap team, that we want to copy their jerseys. if u are still thinking about championships that are all in the past, then u should have enough balls to admit that the kings or "queens" as u lagirls fans call them, are better than the lagirls Now at the moment. if u are gonna say we are copying LA's jeseys just because they have similar colors then I'm saying the san antonio spurs copied Juventus soccer jerseys colors. Stop copying soccer jerseys san antonio and think of your own original ideas.

I think the master plan of the Maloofs is to move the Kings to Las Vegas. Seems their move will be contingent on the new stadium they want. If the North Natomas community doesn't cooperate, the Maloofs will push David Stern to let them move to Las Vegas.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting mentalman:</div><div class="quote_post">Just a little history. The Kings only championship came way back in the 1950-51 season when they were the Rochester Royals. I believe they haven't been in the championships since then either. But if they really want to claim their one ring then we should take our total up to 19 because we did win 5 when we were in Minneapolis.</div>

the lakers did win 14 championships counting Minneapolis not 19.

    5 in minni
    1 in the 70's
    5 in the 80's
    3 in the 00's.

What ever happened to using correct grammar? Why are you comparing soccer jerseys to basketball? Of course soccer teams have similar colours to basketball jersey's. Anyway, the jersey's look nothing alike:

    San Antonio Spurs(basketball)

    Juventus(soccer)

The Juventus jersey resembles an NFL officials jersey.

They have the same colors, do the Kings jerseys look like the Lagirls jerseys? No. Of course basketball jerseys will have similar colours too. There are only so many colours to use.

And this is a basketball website, not how to speak proper English. I can point out a few mistakes in your grammer too. You said "Anyway, the jersey's look nothing alike:

"jersey's" means "jersey is". I think what you meant to write was "jerseys'".

I'm not trying to be a bitch or anything, but try to at least use capital letters and full stops. Sometimes it can be hard to understand what you are trying to say. I'm not saying scan your post for errors, but just try a little harder to type words instead of letters and use full stops and capital letter's in the right places.

Did I ever type like that? Quote me and I'll admit it, but you are just making up things.

You obviously didn't post that exact thing, but what I was trying to say is, is that it is hard to understand when people post like that. Take a look around, most people type in full instead of using shorthand or no punctuation.

I didn't mean quote me on saying that exact thing, I mean quote me on typing, using grammar as bad as that. I don't want to start an arguement, so I'll apologise for doing that, and I'll try not to let it happen again. Sometimes when you're writing long posts, you keep going and don't use punctuation. Sorry.

No problem, I was trying to point that out for you for three reasons:

1). It is confusing sometimes to understand what you are saying.
2). You probably would have been warned soon. I think you have already been warned so you may have been suspended or something.
3). You won't be taken seriously if you post that way.

Thanks. But when was I warned? I didn't think I was, anyway it doesn't matter. GO KINGS!

Its weird how much the fans of teams in the Pacific Division argue. I guess its because the Kings, Warriors, and Lakers all have large fan bases on the site.

The Lakers have the biggest community by a mile. I think it's also safe to say that the biggest fan base worldwide are the Lakers.

I think the Rockets with Yao Ming might have surpassed the Lakers as far as fan base. Just look at the All-Star voting for Yao since his rookie season.

I agree. If you watch or go to games anywhere you will find fans of the Lakers there. Although right now I think Houston has a big fan base in China with Yao there.
