ok, me n my boys at school have a schoolwide fantasy league going....and i have third pick. the first 2 guys are taking KG and Lebron for sure. they confirmed. My choices are between Kobe Tmac and Dirk...im stuck, i was thinking of going with Dirk. He Averaged 26 points, 10 boards a block, 3 assists and shot 45% from the field, as well as hitting 3 pointers for a power forward. Or i could take Tmac and on my second round pick draft Rasheed Wallace or Pau Gasol. What should i do?
Without a question, Shawn Marion. He's a top 3 pick already, and now that JJ and Q gone, and Amare set to miss sometime, his numbers will go up. I'd advise you to take him and run away.
Shawn Marion. But who can potentially have the best statistical season? Easily Kobe Bryant. I'm predicting 30, 7, 5, 2, 1 on 46% shooting and 38% on 3's. It depends on who your playing against though. If your playing with guys that don't know half as much basketball (or fantasy sports for that matter) as you, you could prolly "hustle" them by picking a player "O. ranked" higher and then trade for the player you want + another decent fantasy baller. lol hey, it worked for me..

Also, he turns the ball over a lot compared to Marion, and doesn't give you as many steals, rebounds and blocks.

I do agree though he'll probably not put up as gooda numbers in the rebounds cat. but he'll still be in the neighbourhood of 2 steals and a block + his scoring and assists numbers will be far better.
