After reading the past few topics i keep seeing everyone talk about how we should trade Nelson and crap. Here is our lineup Francis-Nelson-Diener Stevenson-Dooling Hill-Turkoglu Howard-Outlaw-Garrity Cato-Battie-Kasun That is a DEEP team. There is nothing wrong with that. If we would trade Nelson for a SG then if Francis gets injured what do we have? There is nothing wrong with depth. It is a good thing. As long as the players care more about the team image than their own selfish desiers (I.E. playing time) then we are good. In my opinion everyone in that list of 13 players is capable of starting. The weakest would be Outlaw and Garrity but still not bad. (picture Garrity/Garnett).
Those are the problems I see: 1. I don't see Dooling as a SG. 2. There are not many minutes left behind Francis, a talented Jameer shouldn't just get 10 minutes per game. I hope Francis plays at least a few minutes a game together with Jameer. This might get us an unhappy Jameer and can be a problem for team chemistry. 3. Hedo played a few minutes at SG last year as well. While I expect Grant's minutes to decrease, I suppose Hedo will spent less time at SG. 4. I just don't like Francis as our PG. He's too much of a ball hog and his offensive decisions are sometimes questionable. A deep team is never bad as long as you've got the coach who can utalise it and everybody is happy. Just a side note, I believe Battie will also spend some time at PF and Outlaws contract isn't guaranteed, so he might not make the team. Also, I believe Diener is sent down to the NBDL anyway.
1.I see him as more of a SG than a PG 2.True but I see Francis playing SG for a bit 3.Hedo doesnt need to play SG unless we need him and pat in to shoot 3s which he would probably play with Hill,Dooling,Nelson,Garrity 4.Maybe last year. This year he said he will change...only time will tell I forgot about Battie. Yes Battie can play PF. I wish we could get an amazing Center which can really be a twin tower thing with dwight. Then have Cato back him up and Battie behind Howard.

I actually expect them to increase after the reports of his healthy summer of training.
Well, it's my gut feeling if you want. I know that there are good reports about his knees, health and all that but I've got this feeling that he's going to rest more during the regular season, meaning playing less time, not much of course, only about 2-5 minutes less per game. All this to be fit when playoff-time comes. And yes, I expect Orlando to make the playoffs. And after all, he's not getting younger.
