nailon, mashburn, etc.

    wow, this flew under the radar of most people, but did anyone noticed we signed free agent lee nailon to our team? He's one of those guys who can score 6-10 points a night and occasionally you'll be looking at the boxscore and go "wow, lee nailon scored 25 points last night". The dude can fill the basket up.

    Also, mashburn hasn't announced his retirement and he seems to be on the preseason roster for the sixers. If we can get something out of him this year, our bench is starting to look a lot better.

    Yes....everybody active in the Sixers forum knows this...this is old news...

    and no Mashburn is done for his career, he's not coming back

    No we can't get anything from him as he won't announce his retirement until february cause if he would do it now he'd lose some money.He doesn't have cartilage in his knee so it's hard to play for him.

    Lee Nailon can really help the Sixers out if they use him well enough. Nailon is a good scorer and his mid range shot is water. If Korver aint hittin shots and Iverson is struggling whos gonna score some points. Cause Webber's mid range shot is good but not consistent. Iguodala is a hustle player and does the lil things so he wont be scoring much.

    Nailon can easily come of a pick and roll with Iverson and score on a jumper, the Sixers are gonna be great this season man. They have a go to scorer, leader, and duo, some role players, and a good coach.

    Now we only need some depth to last through the season and be a force in the League.
