I enjoyed it. Here are the conclusions I got from it

    1) Rick Brunson doesnt expect to be in the rotation and Flip Murray expects the 3rd guard role. so I think its an assumption they are both making based on the coaches. Also, they put a MIC on Flip and he was more talkitive then i really expected him to be (although maybe it was because he had a mic on him) lol.

    2) Reggie Evans looked awesome from what they showed. Frustrating guys like Collision with his plays....great to see that stuff in practice

    3) Bob Weiss seemed to have complete control of the team. He wasnt screaming the entire time but everything seemed to go as he wanted it too. Which makes me worry less about the control of the team.

Thanks for the impressions. I guess I shouldn't expect Brunson to play 20 mpg, I suppose his value will be in the locker room, practice and basically just mentoring Luke.

Like Weiss said, you can sit him for a few games and then when needed he doesn't hurt you.

Good news for Flip that he'll have a larger, more defined role this year.

That doesn't surprise me. Flip's a straight-up streetballer (not and1 but flashy and gritty) when you let him loose.

He just always seemed kinda quiet to me.

I didn't get a chance to see it--I was at the Cavs/Celtics preseason game last night. Anyone know when they are going to replay it? I always like watching that behind the scenes stuff.

Oh I forgot to point out I was suprirsed to see Swift playing with the 1st unit during practice but after reading the papers this morning I guess it shouldnt be that surprising sense he is actually starting tonight. That should be interesting. Looks like injuries already starting for Potapenko..something that will no doubt be a recurring problem this season.
