it just said on hoopshype.com that the Lakers will now target Chris Bosh after stoudamire and Yao signed extensions errr i would hate to see bosh leave i think if he stays and by 07 we can be a playoff team
So far the Lakers have been off their mark for any player they target. I don't see them pursuing Bosh, since he's similar to Odom and Kwame already. The Raptors will have the money to max him out since the only contract on books will be Alvin Williams.
They really have no use for him anyways, and it's not like they'll have higher priority anyways. Getting young FA's away from a team where they're already the main guy is quite hard to do. The ones that leave are normally the ones who have a secondary role.
of course the lakers want bosh...who wouldnt? he'll be a restricted free agent...the best thing that could happen to the raps is that he signs a deal with the lakers, and we match it and lock him in long term. aside of course from bosh just signing a long term deal with the raps. thats whats likely to happen imo
the lakers are looking for a robin to kobe's obnoxious batman routine; does cb4 qualify? he wouldn't complain much, so
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">it's hoopshype...'nuff said.</div> That's right buddy, that's all anybody needs to know. Although I've noticed when it comes to either common sense deals (Lakers after Bosh) or deals made in the long term, they probably have a 10% accuracy rate, which is higher than their usual output.
This could be great for CB4! Playing for a real Basketball team and city. The Laker's can move Odom to the SF position and if kwame Brown gets better, the Laker's can have a very talented roster. C: Brown, PF: Bosh, SF: Odom, SG: Bryant, PG: (Whomever). Laker's getting Bosh is doable! Because Bosh will become a restricted free agent, all Bosh needs to do is not sign any contract and wait out the year and he can beome an unrestricted free agent and sign with the lakers without any problems! I hate to see Bosh's talents go to waste. A lot of great players wasted their careers because they played for a bad team. And if Bosh joins the lakers he'll be saving his career and maybe even win championships.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting FanBball:</div><div class="quote_post">Playing for a real Basketball team and city</div> is Toronto not a real basketball team? if its not then i have a pretty vivid imagination when i watch the raptors play and dont even get me started with Toronto not being a city
