Hey all, Im from the United Kingdom, Id guess probably one of the only Uk'ers on here, for some reason there seems to be less and less interest in bball over here these days, no idea why, perhaps its lack of TV time. Anyways Iv supported Orlando Magic ever since I was 12 years old and first came to your great State & stayed at Orlando, I even went up to the enterance of the Magic stadium. Since then Iv always tried to follow the team but due to lack of TV coverage I have to rely on people like you from forums to let me know exactly whats going on. I probably wont post much as Im not up to date with the bball happenings (again due to being in the UK) but I will read a lot of your threads and hopefully join in with some discussions. Hopefully this forum is active & stays active, unlike a few others Iv been too. Thanks.
Welcome, i'm fairly new here also but i'm sure this place will get kicking once the season starts. Always great to have new magic posters. GO MAGIC!!!

Nice to have someone from the UK around here. there are some more people from the UK here but I guess most of them are not Orlando Magic fans. By the way, anyone knows what happened with Ice? She used to be Mod of the Orlando Magic forum and she was from London... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Anyways Iv supported Orlando Magic ever since I was 12 years old and first came to your great State & stayed at Orlando, I even went up to the enterance of the Magic stadium. During offseason there isn't much activity around here but we've got some great people here, especially in the Orlando Magic Forum. But in others as well. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting GotSkillz92:</div><div class="quote_post">Welcome, but one of the mods have to move this someplace else.</div> What a strange welcome, especially from a non-Magic fan and a non-Mod?!? Fortunately, you're not a Mod, I'll have to say. But yeah, there is a a thread called "Magic Roll Call" - as a non-native English I never really understood what this means but that's where it has to go. But hell, we're not that nitpicking here, or would then the Thread "I'm BACK" still be here (instead of moving it in the lounge where those things normally belong to)?
welcome jonesy... the more magic fans the better. im surprised coroner is from the UK too. i didnt know you lived out there but you seem to keep up pretty well. props to coroner.
heya all apologies if it was in the wrong place. Coranor: any idea what channel bball is being "broadcasted" on this season?
Hi jonesy, no need to apologize. Anyway, I've got no idea, maybe check out the North American Sports Network (http://www.nasn.com/ - £11 per month though), sky sports should also air a few games but to be honest, I haven't watched one single TV minute since I'm here in the UK, so don't take it for granted...
thnx for the reply, iv actually got that channel and didn't even know it existed till u said, lol. no more relying on channel 5 for weekly updates
