I don't know if any of you caught the preseason opener late last night between the Lakers and Warriors, but Kobe was being a real ballhog last night. In a preseason game nonetheless, i hope this isn't a sign for the rest of the year because if they want to win more than thirty-four games this year he better be ready to make his teammates better and distribute the ball amongst his teammates. Hes not the only one out there. Phil Jackson needs to have a little bit more control over Kobe and sit him when he gets his little childish attitude. Go Kwame Brown.

Let's see, Kobe shot 10 for 19 from the field and led the team with 5 assists, with only 1 turnover. He got to the FT line 8 times, and didn't take a single 3PT basket.

Doesn't sound like he ballhogged at all last night.

The Lakers run the Triangle offense, and it's designed to get Kobe Bryant a lot of touches. The system is designed to get the best player on the floor involved in the flow on every possession. Just like Shaq O'neal got the majority of the touches in the Triangle, as well as Michael Jordan did in Chicago.

Indeed. And if Kobe was such a ball hog, I dont see how he would have gotten Phil Jackson's praise after the game.

Why would Phil not praise Kobe if he scored 28 and they won?
