" The crowd of 13,895 appeared to accept the game as it was - the preseason opener for both teams. So Hunter wound up hearing nothing from the fans during his foul-troubled night. Starting at center in place of the injured Samuel Dalembert, Hunter played just 17 minutes, winding up with four points, five rebounds and three turnovers. "You hear all the horror stories about Philadelphia sports fans and then you get a chance to get in here and see for yourself," teammate Allen Iverson said. "It's in the back of your head. "He wanted to play well for the first game, and then you're nervous and you make a couple of mistakes. You can't judge him off the first game.
