Either Coach Hill wanted to experiment the other guys or they(Nelson, Tony and Pat) probably suffered very minor injuries and Hill didn't want to take any chances of them aggravating that injury. All coaches tend to sit their impact players in the preseason with the slightest injury. So I don?t think you should overly worry.
Jameer suffered from flu-like symptoms, Battie just didn't play for no particular reason, according to the Sentinel. Garrity wasn't mentioned.
I'm probably reaching, but I want to believe that Jameer is a legitimate NBA starter. Does anyone think his sickness tonight mighthave been also the reason he played pathetically in the last preseason game, I mean, not everyone is MJ and play better with fever.

Everyone has bad games though, he was rusty and even last year he started the season off really slow shooting wise, so hopefully he can get that out of his system before November. I'm not too worried about Jameer, he'll bounce back and probably shoot lights out the next game. He's a good player and that's what good players do after bad games.
Here's a list from what our players suffer, including the reason why Garrity didn't play: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Howard was hit in the chest area late in Wednesday night's game against the Rockets. Kasun has been bothered by tendinitis in his right ankle. Nelson sat out the game against the Rockets because of flu-like symptoms. F Pat Garrity has been experiencing some swelling in his surgically repaired right knee. Hill said he kept Garrity on the bench as a precaution in Houston because he had played the previous night against in Atlanta.</div> Source
