Iverson scored 27 points in 26 minutes to lead Philadelphia to a 100-88 preseason victory over the San Antonio Spurs at the Colonial Center.

The All-Star guard was 10-of-18 from the field, 7-of-8 from the line and added seven assists for Philadelphia, which shot 54 percent (21-of-39) in the first half and held a 55-48 lead at the break.

Kyle Korver nailed four 3-pointers and scored 16 points and newly acquired forward Lee Nailon added 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting for the 76ers.</div>

There was no audio for this game so forget about it being televised. If it was at least being broadcasted on the radio I could have give my impressions. But I'll do so anyways by the "live" scores that were updated about every 4-5 minutes and boxscore.

Well for starters, some things never seem to change. Literally the Sixers were up by at least 12 points in about 5-6 stretches of the game but as the score were updated the Spurs would always be within 4-5 points. So it's either the Sixers still can't play with leads or the Spurs so happen to have many offensive surges, which in fact makes sense with Nick, Finley and so on. C-Webb and Dally were out of action, so I won't take this too serious and I can?t forget it?s preseason, but at the same time it's hard to ignore it because those collapses gives us bad memories. Not to mention, Ginobili was NOT in action.

As for our guys specifically, they did seemingly well judging from the box scores. A.I had a great game with 27 Points and 7 assists. But at the same time he got to the FT line 10 times. While I love to see that from A.I he needs to quit that for now, its preseason and he shouldn't be looking to get himself potentially injured. But he doesn't really care just like Kobe, they just continue to be competitive and post big numbers even though it's only preseason. On the other hand Korver did good as well, 8 rebounds is very nice. His rebounding for the most part got considerably better. So far for in two games he is averaging 7 RPG. Even though he was trigger happy last night with 15 shot attempts, from an article I read he bailed the 76ers out in the 4th quarter when the Spurs were trailing as little as two points.

Ollie, Salmons, Iguodala, Nailon and Hunter all had a solid night btw. But who I wanted to see was James Thomas. In the post game quotes Cheeks was praising him and looking at his stat line there was nothing really impressive. Hopefully it was his effort and energy. I think I said this before, but his body structure and work ethic reminds me awfully of Danny Fortson. If he can at least mimic Fortson style of play if would be great. We're always in the bottom half in rebounding so an extra 4-5 boards won't be bad at all.

I know that, that's what I meant by radio broadcast. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that's where they get the audio from, the team local sports radio station? Well anyways, it wasn't working on neither NBA.com or ESPN.com.
