<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) -- Larry Brown and Eddy Curry made successful debuts with the New York Knicks in a 93-84 exhibition victory over the New Jersey Nets on Saturday night. Brown made his debut on the Knicks' bench. He has coached in the NBA with Denver, New Jersey, San Antonio, Los Angeles (Clippers), Indiana, Philadelphia and Detroit, where he guided the Pistons to the 2003-04 NBA title and the Finals last season. "Our effort was great," Brown said. "We tried to do things the right way. We were a little unorganized on offense but I kind of felt that would happen." Curry led the Knicks with 16 points and four rebounds in 13 minutes. He missed the last 13 regular-season games of last season and the playoffs after he was diagnosed with heart arrhythmia in March. Curry was traded from Chicago to New York in the offseason. "There was a lot of nervousness before the game, a lot of buildup, but overall I felt good," Curry said.</div> source box score
QRich shot just 1-12 from the field in this game. Why is he still shooting 3 point baskets? I thought he was excited at the opportunity to play in the post again. Eddy Curry had a typical Eddy Curry night with 16 points and 4 rebounds. I think the Knicks can expect those numbers all season from him. Hopefully Ariza caught LB's attention with 13/6/4 tonight in 29 minutes of play.

I think this guy has a lot of potential and could do some great things for the Knicks in the future... Note to Zeke...let's leave this one on the team for while and see what happens! FYI the game tonight against the Mavs should be telivised so hopefully I can check them out
Notice how Curry had 16 points and 4 rebs in 13 minutes, that is pretty good considering he is probably out of shape.
