Anyone else impressed by Ewings production? I think he could really help the team as a shooter and defensive guy off the bench. I like the fact that he also had 5 assists, because playmaking definately hasn't been known as one of his strong suits, so if he can keep everything up, he can be a great backup off the bench. Rodney White also played well, I know he can score already, so that's not a big deal, but he rebounded nicely and had a good overall game. Wilcox also did well on the glass, he's really going to have to rebound and defend well to help the team this season. Anyways, Cassell, Livingston, Brand, and Kaman didn't play in the game, but they did well.
Daniel Ewing looks to have played solidly as well.....5 assist with alot of scoring options missing. Anyway, I wonder how much he will be apart of the rotation...since Rodney White was signed I think that it effects Ewing's role in the backcourt even though White is a 3 not a 2. Now I think Coach Dunlevy has the option of swinging Maggette over to the 2guard depending on matchups and have him play on the floor at the same time as White...giving the Clippers a bigger perimeter look....So that type of look takes away minutes that would have went to Ewing before the signing...because I dont think Mobley, Livingston or Cassell's minutes will be effected by the arrival of White.
