I never said the heat would have a bad season. And that does in no way summarize what I have been saying. Again... How will the Heat play differently in the season if they arent playing well right now (without making changes). What I am saying is. At half speed and in limited minutes the heat have turnover issues. The Heat have chemistry issues. If they dont do anything different and solve the problem how will they do well during the season? I never said they couldnt solve the problems or said they would do bad this year. If you get 5 turnovers from Wade in 20-30 minutes how many do you expect in 35-43? The Heat playing well this season will not prove me wrong in any way. I have said that they can do well this year. It depends on the chemistry mainly. If the chemistry works then they will do great this year. If it doesnt then a trade could be needed. I see them getting to the playoffs either way. What is annoying to me is how I have posted the same thing through 5 posts (i think) and you still take what i say and change/ignore it.
How am I changing what your saying if I quoted you? Their are some things I agree with you on and disagree with you on. I understand what you are saying that the Heat's bad play may translate to the regualr season if not fixed. But in the preseason their just not the same focus or intensity that their is in the regular season. The players know themselves that the games don't mean anything. If they still play bad at the beginning of the regular season when their is more intensity and focus then I MAY start to worry. I just think the preseason is to early for this.
Ok hold on a sec. If pre-season is meant to see how your players play together, then the Spurs must not have that great chemistry because they are 0-4 correct?
Miami, when i say you change it I mean the meaning not the actual words. I still think the Heat will make the playoffs no matter what. Playmaker, that is just one of the things preseason is for. Spurs from just a guess is that they arent really playing too hard becasue they know their team, they havent made any major changes, they have had the chemistry for years. I have just said that one of the issues with the Heat over the preseason has been the chemistry. Also, I have said record means nothing in the preseason. It is how they play.
Well to be honest, Spurs starters have looked very good. Spurs have lost every game due to the fact Pop has played the guys trying to make the roster alot more. That said, pre-season results don't have any baring on what happens in the season. If the Heat starters are struggling badly with playing togeather then there may be cause for concern but If It is just the Heat losing when their main guys play limited minutes then I don't see much reason to panic. Miami were always likely to struggle chemistry wise at this stage though.
^^maybe so, but magicfan is making it sound like if your team is losing it means they aren't playin well 2gether, therefore I assumed that's why the Spurs where 0-4, lets be honest, both of these teams are going to have good seasons and there is a high possibility that one will win the NBA title I just had to respond to those comments.
Playmaker, have you read anything I have said before? I said that the Spurs DID have chemistry and it was probably just them either not trying or not playing much as allnet confirmed. Losing DOES NOT EQUAL not having chemistry Chemistry DOES mean you will lose games I had more that I said but I didnt know if i pressed enter (I didnt) and I went back. Lets be honest, The Heat have many new players and have not shown they have chemistry yet. Right now I wouldnt say they have a high possibility to win the NBA title. That is going WAY to far and it is WAYYYYYY too far away to say that. They dont have chemistry yet. If they have great chemistry then yes they have a good possibility of getting to the finals. They havent proved that they have chemistry yet so dont say they will have a good season so early. I am not saying they wil have a bad season. They will make the playoffs regardless of chemistry. Im sick of you Heat fans who think you automatically will win everything. Anyways good luck tonight in the game.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting skiptomylou11:</div><div class="quote_post">Playoffs won't be possible if they lose to teams like the bobcats :S It seems that a few players need to change their game considerably for this team to work.</div> they beat us in the regular season last year whats the biggie?
Your bench played really good tonight. This could be a good run for the division with games like this...Only thing I can say is that the refs were a little biast to payton overnelson. Yes payton is the veteran but he shouldnt get that many calls in a row for him.The refs called too many offensive fouls... Other than that nicely done.
I think magicfan is jealous cause we've got such a good year coming up and the Orlando Magic can't possibly touch us... oh...by the way...we beat orlando tonight.... WITH passing...24 assists....maybe you should focus on ur team cause it needs

Cocky fans like you are why I hate the Heat and have hated them this season and last season. Chemistry still hasnt been proven yet so dont say you are going to have a great season so early. Youguys played well against us tonight but I think right now we have about even teams playing in a game wise(we missed 3 starters against you, you guys missed shaq). You guys definately have more raw talent but not the chemistry yet. How the division ends depends on how the Heat develop their chemistry. If they have great chemistry then they win the division easily if they have okay-good chemistry it is up for grabs between the Magic and the Heat If they have bad chemistry Magic have a good chance but Heat could still win. I personally think Heat will win the division and I am not arguing that we will. I think you guys are the ones jealous. In 3 or 4 years we will be one of the elite teams in the east while you guys are crumbling after shaq retires. I just hate cocky fans like you who think its automatic that the Heat will win. It is not.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker15:</div><div class="quote_post">San Antonio is 0-4 it says on NBA.com go freak out on them people. Wolves and Soncis are both winless, let's stop rushing to judgement before we say a break down is occuring.</div> The Spurs have a cohesive unit who have won championships together, so no, they have every right to go 0-4 and not have any serious concern...Miami, on the other hand, has just a compilation of star names yet have no history of cohesion as a team...not only that, but the players they've acquired (Posey, J-Williams, Walker, Payton) have a history of being malcontents and disruptive to team chemistry...so there IS more concern on Miami's part than SA's...its quite laughable to compare the two... Anywho, I see the Heat having a great regular season yet not doing well in the playoffs...they'll win a lot of regular season games off of talent alone, but once preseason comes around (where chemistry and team unity are prioritized over mere talent), they wont be successful...Like I said, the Heat addressed WANTS in the offseason, opposed to NEEDS, and I think that will be their ultimate downfall...

Have you ever heard of the Washington Wizards? Magic finish third at best. Miami will win the division without having to try it's so weak. It won't be up for grabs how can you say the Magic that always break down and have injuries will compete for the division title.
Last season the Heat made drastic changes and they didnt start clicking until December. Give this squad time to get to know each other. Chemistry isn't born over night. This is one of the most revamped teams in the league. I say in December-January we should get a good look at what this squad can do. This Heat team will be a fun one to watch. I'm looking forward to it.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker15:</div><div class="quote_post">they beat us in the regular season last year whats the biggie?</div> First off, I wasn't serious about Miami not making playoffs. I just think the expectations of a team with Shaq and Wade, is that they should generally dominate when those two guys on the floor. So my thoughts are that Toine, GP, and Jay Williams, will have to change their game and become more team oriented if Miami is going to have the success they desire.
It is not a big deal at this point, the sole purpose of preseason is to get used to what you have. With the Heat it is going to take time becuase they have got a brand new team so don't expect over nigth resuslts. Making an assumption on this team now won't really matter because they simply need time to form a bond between each other. Don't worry they have from now, till about April to get it done.
