I went to the game last night ( 16th ) vs the warriors. It was ** first kings game, and ** first nba game since seeing the detroit pistons in the playoffs vs atlanta in '92 or so. Some things I noted that look good for the Kings this year : 1) They were patient on offense. About 6 times they passed up a decent shot to get a better shot. 2) Kevin Martin bulked up, and also fixed his strange jumper form. He looked much, much better. 3) Francisco Garcia looked solid. Good shooting, and good passing. 4) Peja is in shape! He looks like he has a lot less fat on him. He also looked good handling the ball & passing. I guess it's a contract year...He also just seemed more active & spry. 5) Bonzi was great - passing, posting up on occasion, and grabbing boards. He also had 4 fouls from aggressive defense. Good to see. 6) Twice I say two kings fighting for the same rebound - been a long time since I've seen that. 7) Kenny Thomas and SAR were very solid. 8) This looks like a very solid team. Deep, and no superstars to hog the ball. Some things that concerned me : 1) Bibby can't stay in front of anyone. I guess this is nothing new, and now he has some better defense behind him, but I think teams that break ppl down off the dribble may give bibby fits. 2) Jason Hart did not look good imo. He dribbled too much, didn't pass enough and just didn't seem to get others good shots.

Kings are killin now though, GO KINGS!!!!
peja time i had forgotten this is a contract year for peja. i used to really pull for the guy and enjoy watching him play, but, obviously, last year soured me on him a little bit. i hope he can turn it around this year and it willbe interesting to see where he lands for the 06-07 season. LA???
