To me Allan Houston definetly wasn't worth that huge 100 million contract that he got, that was just ridiculous, but the thing that hurt the most the over the past 2 years he has only played in a total of 70 games and average 11.7 points a game, his worst since his rookie season. He was injured which happens, but eqleast he was smart enough to get out without costing the team more and more money, and hurting the Knicks salary cap, now the Knicks have a little room. So long Allan and trust me the knicks won't miss that huge contract too much.

^^^ u are a true de dede for that. If you watch basketball at all then oyu know that Allan Houston had a tremendous career during the 90's. He is one of the bets shooters I've ever seen. I would've liekd for him to get a title but sadly he didn't. Shut up with you criticism of a great player and start watching basketball instead of posting garbage like this.

This posting wasn't garbage, he had a great season in 02-03 and helped big in the Knicks run to the finals in 1999, but he has seriously been hurting the Knicks salary cap with his huge contract with no production because of his injuries.

c'mon, cut allan houston some slack. it wasn't his fault he got injured. and he can't be blamed for the big contract he was offered. he was a good player, and when he was offered the large sum, he had potential, and i thought he was worth it. it was just really tough luck for the knicks management. they gambled, and it did not pay off. allan houston had a pretty good career, he even led the pistons in scoring with g.hill in the lineup during their prime. i really think he was worth the contract, and the only thing separating him from other big money players is that he isn't flashy in his play. we shouldn't be hating.

    Ugh.
We already have a thread about Houston. One thread is enough.
