I didn't really know how the guy looked prior to him coming to the Bulls. And i saw him for the first time on NBA.com (video of the game against the Celts). Damn that guy is huge! With an ass like that, no wonder he's tough to handle in the post. I wonder if he's on his playing weight, or if he needs to lose some. There's talk about his conditioning not being where it needs to be, but no mention of his weight...
i already knew he was huge, but (way) before there were even talks about the trade, my guy told me that he could play he just wasnt gettin time
Sweetney is a baller. From what I've seen so far he's got tons and tons of potential, he got be the next Elton Brand if he succeeds or he could end up being the next Tractor Traylor if he doesnt. I was happy when he got traded to the Bulls because I knew he would most likely get playing time here with there only other bigs being Songaila who's most likely going to split minutes as a backup, and Chandler. Othella is old and AD is in NY. Sweetney's gotten better as he's played more in the NBA. He's a big guy and like you said with a ass/post game like that combined with his size he could be a force to be reckoned with especially in the Eastern Conference. For Pre-Season Mike is averagin' around 12/7 a game and Im sure he's capable of atleast that if not more in the season for the Bulls, he's a candidate for MIP once you think about it or atleast in my eyes he is. Smart Move by the Bulls.
