Warriors play terrible in the 2nd quarter to find themselves in a 4 point hole after being up by 14 at the end of the 1st quarter.

    53-49 Suns

James Jones? not to be confused with Mike Jones is 4-7 from the 3 pt. line with 12 points in the 1st half.

Pietrus is doing nothing while Murphy is shooting poorly.

Offense can go cold time to time, but we really need something called defense. I know it's such a foreign concept for Warriors to understand, but they seem completely clueless at both ends in 2nd quarter...

Murph has 7 boards. Hopefully Dunleavy can continue to score. Look for Baron to go off.

Dunleavy doing this well on a 2nd well played game means either one of two things
1.) Dunleavy is playing point guard
2.) Dunleavy is playing power forward.

I'm hoping its because in preseason we always take out our starters, (or at least Baron and a few other starters). I think the second unit will be alot better if Ike is able to draw some fouls and score some buckets. A post game will open up space for our reserves, and Diogu with Pietrus or Fisher could make a nice pic and roll.

Well look on the bright side, Dunleavy is at least scoring as much as Shawn Marion and James Jones combined. [IMG]

Yeah our D can't save us if our offense goes cold. It's not just our team defense, we just have lousy defenders. It's bad enough the defender has to react to a player's movement, but when the defender is so slow footed and easy to bump off balance, there's not much hope.

    EDIT:

Spoke too soon. Dunleavy's 26 points on 72% shooting to The Matrix/Jones's 32 points on 50% shooting. Still not bad for Dunleavy. 6 boards and one block too in the 3rd.

What's up with Baron Davis? He's got 1:1 assist per turnovers ratio.

I wonder what they are doing in locker room. Again, right after they came out from the locker room, they are blazing hot...

Wow, Grant fouls out in the third quarter. Dont hear of that often, especially on a team that should value the few big men they have every game.

No kidding. I heard he shoots hundreds of free throws and makes a lot when he is in a rythm. He says he just gets nervous in the game. I think he needs to just get in a rythm. He needs to have a routine and stick to it. You should be able to shoot free throws with your eyes closed. I know I can. That only comes with repitition, repitition, repitition...

You meant the team scored 38 points in the first quarter, not Dunleavy. Read over it one more time and it sounds kinda funny. [IMG]
