Well, the NBA season is here again this means that we need previews for the Nets forum. I am looking for 5 people who will dedicated to the Nets forum to help me out with previews for upcoming games. Once the team is assembled, each team member with have to do a preview for about 2 to 3 games per month. Iam very serious about this years previews because I started something like this last year...and it didnt last...so Iam only interested in people who are seriously interested. Make sure that you are going to stick around the Nets forum for the full basketball year before signing up. Signup and then I will review your post here at JBB...no I am not interested in post count but Iam interested in post quality. If you only have 5 posts at JBB, it doesnt matter as long as they are quality posts. So please guys show interest signup and I will get back to you via pm...after I make my decision. I know it may sound serious but really its not its all for fun and to generate more conversation in the Nets forum. Thanks Nets' Preview Team 1. Henacy 2. Kobimel 3. Xpehbamxyu 4. NBAballer 5.
I'm willing to join the team. It seems a really interesting job, and though I'm more experienced at season previews than game previews, I've done some before and I want to help out as much as I can.
I'm willing to join, so long as I do not have to do more than 3 previews per month and certainly no more than 1 preview within a certain week. I think that I have done one or two game previews last season or the season before that.

So are you still interested?
One to two spots still currently available, please let me know if you are interested. I would like to have the team completed and the schedule for the first couple of games posted by the Weekend. Thanks

Please don't hate if it's not that good.
I definately will not hate...you will knock it out just fine. We arent looking for NBA.com level previews. Its just important that we get a thread up to discuss the games. And get different people contributing to raise the level of the Nets forum.

<font size=""5"">Nets Preview Team Schedule For December 3rd - December 10th Sat, Dec.3rd vs Toronto -NBAballer Wed, Dec. 7th @ Charlotte- Kobimel Fri, Dec 9th @ Cleveland- Henacy Sat, Dec. 10th vs Philadephia- Xpehbamxyu Sorry for just now posting the schedules Holidays have me thrown off a bit posting wise.
<font size=""5"">Schedule For Dec.13th-18th Dec.13th @ Washington- Kobimel Dec.14th vs. Charlotte- NBAballer Dec.16th vs. Denver- Henacy Dec.18th vs Golden State- Xpehbamxyu
Preview Team Schedule Dec 21st-27th Preview Team Scedule Wed, Dec.21st @ Orlando - NBABaller Fri, Dec. 23rd @ Miami - Kobimel Mon, Dec. 26th @ New York - Henacy Tues, Dec 27th vs Cleveland - Xpehbamxyu Once again it is expected to be a crazy holiday week and with the transit strike going on in the metro area things are more crazy for local Nets fans, so please just get the best preview in that you can. But starting after the Holiday's a new formal preview will be a must. The Justbball staff has come up with a new format that will make previews more enjoyable and easier to follow for readers. If you havent already seen the new format, you can check it out in the current Clippers/Nets thread located in the forum. ------------------------ This new Format uses Columns to seprate key info on both teams..also with the New Format it has been decided to get rid of the section that spotlights one specific key matchup. And bring more focus back to the overall team aspect of the game. After all basketball isnt one on one....Kobe can drop 40 on the Nets but really would it only be the fault of Jefferson or Carter? no, New Jersey's overall team defense would likely be the cause. So just trying to bring back the overall team focus to the previews, now. Also the bold Subtitles are no longer needed under the new format. No more things like: Projected Nets Starters with the new column system the more simple classic subtitle will do like: Projected Starters Also a brief description of the players would be a nice bonus touch like I have done in the Clippers/Nets thread. It helps outline a bit of what that player may bring to the table during the matchup. When you are doing Keys to the game please format your paragraphs like this: Heading For key to the game ex. Defending The Post Rest of the text that explains your point of the title. Outcome: Defending The Post Securing the Post on the defesive end will be a key to beating the Clipper's tonight. The Clipper's offense runs thre Elton Brand in the post. So shutting him down will take a team effort. It starts with ball denial from the post defenders Jason Collins and Cliff Robinson. But pressure on the ball handles and Clipper passers are a must. Dont let the Clipper guards make the easy look inside, force them to keep the ball out front on the perimeter Lastly you can throw in some opinions or persnal predictions but as usual an unbaised preview makes the best preview. Anyway, I hope you guys understand the new format, if you dont please feel free to pm me with your questions. But take a look at the Clippers/Nets thread it will definately help you better understand.
The new previews look better but are a little complicated. Some people don't have time to make them this long, and not just this week in general. Im gonna do my best, but it's a little too complicated.
Its only difficult the first time. The following times you can just reuse what you already have done and rewire the pics and re-write the text. I really like the fact that we have a standard now. It will actually make writing up things easier because there is more focus and less chance for repetition.
