Sorry, fellas. I was busy this week and wasn't able to do the preview. All game discussions should go in this thread.

What am I watching? The Knicks actually playing...defense?? It is the first quarter but holding them to just 14 points is commendable on Brown. That was a big time rejection by Curry, too.

Although we were killed during crunch time, they're plenty of positives to draw from this game. I liked the defense we played with. We held Dallas - an offensive powerhouse to just 86 points. We played with effort defensively, but we were terrible on offense. 30 turnovers is ridiculous. We also need to maintain poise. We were up in this game by 19 points, and it should have stayed that way. Plenty of things fro Larry to talk about this game. Hopefully we do better tommorow in San Antonio.

    knicks/mavs impressions

    MAVS:

Avery Johnson has his team playing with a SWAGGER. Dallas...swagger... go figure, but they're exuding a lot of confidence in these preseason games. Let's see if they can bring that to the regular season.

Josh Howard is establishing himself as one of those Lamar Odom type unguardable players that is a matchup dilemma.

    KNICKS:

Nate Robinson, the kid is just too cocky. You have to earn that right. He's arguing foul calls as a rookie in a preseason game and flexing after shots. On a LARRY BROWN team. As a rookie, this is disrespecting veteran players who he is playing with and against. You haven't played a single regular NBA game and you're showboating in your first preseason? I'd hate to see what he'd be doing on a more easygoing team. He looks like he genuinely believes he's going to be a superstar in this league. That's somewhat hard to envision, but if you think you can really go that far, then go for it Nate.

    OVERALL:
Hard to believe a game with Stephon Marbury on one side and Dirk Nowitzki on the other side would be a well-played game from a defensive standpoint.

I started watching the game, got extremely excited when the knicks were doing well, but after they commited 5 offensive fouls in a row, i shut off the tv.

I didnt get a chance to watch the game but I heard Jerome James played horrible. In 15 minutes he was 0-5 with no points and only 2 rebounds. Im sure glad we have curry because JJ isnt looking good anymore. I have nothing against nate but he does sometimes showboat and he does take bad shots. But he played a very good game yesterday. He only missed 1 shot and had 12 pts.

this was just an example of Isiah Thomas's stupidity

James sucks period. His numbers are not even medicore; they suck!
This kid should be making less than a million
and Isiah links him to a crazy deal!
    stupid move!

I agree that James played terrific in ONE playoff series
but linking him to a deal like that was jus stupid
