    Raps won[IMG]
Graham played amazing..same with Mo pete and CV31
im starting to get worried about bosh though

for the past two games, he had been playing for 20+ minutes each, however his numbers were not the normal "CB4" numbers. Is it because he is not getting the ball enough? Are him and CV31 not good fits? or what

btw i think espn needs to apologize to the raptors
for basically flaming charlie and calling him a bust
because so far--they are proven wrong[IMG]

We can't be quick to judge yet. It is only preseason. Villanueva won't be getting 30+ minutes a game, and he won't be playing against bench players. However, it is a positive sign that he isn't struggling against lesser competition.

I'm really glad that Joey Graham got a chance to shine. I felt kind of bad for the guy, because he hadn't had a chance to show us what he is capable of. He had 20 points, with 9-14 shooting. He was guarding Pierce, and Pierce only had 9 points in 31 minutes, with 4-10 shooting.

I don't worry about Chris, just because I know what the guy is capable of and its preseason.

On another note: WOOT!!! Alvin got 10 minutes of playing time, with 4 assists and 1 turnover. I'm really glad that Joey Graham got a chance to shine. It's only preseason and i'ts not like Bosh really needs to put forth his 100% effort into it.

While the others try to make the team and try to make a name for themselves, Bosh has already established himself. I'm not worried whatsoever.

Good call, he definitely looked like he just wasn't interested in the C's scrubs tonight, and why should he be?

He is a stellar athlete, and he appears to be in the best shape of his short career. I think he will be just fine when it comes down to it.

I think one other thing to look at that no one has mentioned yet that is cause for optomism is Hoffa. I know he isn't great or gonna light it up or take ppl out but if you think of the last two games (I'm only going by boxscores, haven't been able to see a game yet ) but he played 22 minutes grabbed 6 boards and only had 3 fouls. I think that he didn't foul out in that amount of time should be reason enough to celebrate. MAYBE he will be ok.

Oh no no no, he's just awful. And his fouling only tells half the story. Perk, Blount (pronounced BLUNT), and Raef just eat this guy's lunch from one game to the next, and let's face it, they aren't exactly the class of the big man crop. He's slow, he doesn't rotate, and he's not smart with the ball in the rare instance that he posesses it. This guy looked like a wash the last two games I watched.

^^ It's true. Even though he hasn't fouled out the last few games, the same basic problem is there: He's always a step too slow when guarding his man. His opponent either scores or draws a foul on him, when they get the ball. On offense, he takes too long to set up and he got stripped from the Celtics guards a few times. I said it before, but all I expect out of him is to rebound, and so far he hasn't been even doing that properly.

Joey Graham has a nice offensive performance. I would've liked to see a little more on the rebounding side, but overall, his jumpshot looks nice, and he looked good on the floor.

We'll see how everything progresses when the season starts as pre-season can be decieving.

It rarely tells the whole story, but Graham was good against the starters, the scrubs, and the inbetweens. I'm especially encouraged by some of the bad looks at the buzzer going down, in that he seemed confident enough to take and make those. That's a rare quality in a rookie, so that's especially good. Graham's defense was marginal, and not as good as some seemed to think last night, but he looks emminently coachable, and that's the best quality a rookie can have.
