I was just thinking this question to my self a few days ago. If you had to choose between these which would you choose: For the rest of your life you weren't allowed to PLAY basketball OR for the rest of your life you wouldn?t be able to watch basketball for any reason (NBA, NCAA, HS, foreign, or any other type). This may not be a hard choice for some since some of you only watch basketball and don't really play the sport. But this question is really for the ones that play AND watch basketball, like many of you on this site. Since I know that I don?t really have a chance of making the NBA and that once you reach a certain age you become to old to play the sport, I would probably choose you could only watch the sport but not play it. I would rather watch basketball till I die then play basketball till I?m 30 or 40. It's a hard choice but that would be my decision.

You can watch basketball as long you live, but you can`t play basketball as long you live.

I`d choose watching the sport instead.

Well it really depends on your situation. If you plan on making a lucrative career playing basketball, then of course playing is much greater than watching it.

For me it's an easy decision. I would rather give up playing than watching. I can easily replace the joy I get playing basketball with other sports, but I cannot substitute watching basketball with any other sport.

wow, tough question. I would have to go with not watching BBall ever again because although I love watching basketball that stems from my love for playing bball. I couldn't imagine having to tell my teammates at school I couldn't play bball anymore.

I'd rather never watch basketball ever again... This is because I live in africa so I basically don't see many matches at all anyways... (unless I stay up until like 5 in the mornin) I don't plan on playing ball as professional but I know that I'll play ball in some form for the rest of my life (even after 40)

I would give up watching. I love ejoying the sport by playing it too much than watching it. Watching it makes me want to run outside and start playing. I am 17 and probably will only have 15-20 good years of playing, and that is worth more than just being able to watch the sport.

Playing BBall got me into watching BBall, even though I LOVE watching the NBA I still stick by my decision. This is a tough question, but I could just watch any other sport (NFL, and MLB).

Its not easy to start a good game of football (at least 8,10 ppl) or baseball (at least 10 ppl) as it is a game of basketball (only 2 ppl)...Hell you could even play bball by urself and still have fun. I'ts hard enough trying to find time to play the sport now that me and my friends all have jobs, and we only play 2v2/3v3.
