AP <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LOS ANGELES (Ticker) - Los Angeles Clippers guard Shaun Livingston, whose rookie season was curtailed by an injury, has a back ailment that will further delay his return to the court. A tall, promising point guard with a somewhat frail physique, Livingston has been sidelined with a sore lower back since the beginning of training camp. On Friday, he was examined by back specialist Dr. Robert Watkins at Health South Sports Medicine. Watkins also examined results of the MRI Livingston underwent Thursday and determined that a continued irritation remains in the injured area of his lower back. Livingston was advised to limit all basketball-related activity until the irritation subsides. </div> Source
This is bad, Im starting to feel that Livingston is too injury-prone to actually do something this year, but hopefully resting will pay in the long run.
In order for Livingston to be this promising, point guard of the future everyone projects him to be he is definitely going to need to bulk up some because it seems as if his frame is cauing him when it comes down to staying healthy.
I don't think he needs to bulk up, because I don't see how that would affect a back injury, what he needs to do is just get stronger.
Just a quick question. Why isn't Shaun Livingston listed under the "Players" tab on NBA.com? He is no where to be found. Also, when I looked at the Clippers box score on ESPN.com it shows all the players on the Clippers (even injured guys who did not play) except for Livingston. Why isn't he listed as an NBA player anymore?
http://www.nba.com/playerfile/shaun_livingston/ Maybe players on the inactive list to start the season weren't included for some reason. It will probably be fixed in the near future.

I feel bad for Livingston. I expected so much from him but his injuries have been holding him back. I hope he gets well soon and stays well because I still think he's the future of the Clippers.
