What do yall think is the Greatest Sixer team of all time. I think it has to be the 1982-83 Sixers Squad

82-83 Philadelphia 76ers (65-17)
C- Moses Malone
PF- Marc Iavoroni
SF- Dr. J

6th Man-Bobby Jones
Coach- Billy Cunningham

Awards
MVP- Moses Malone
6th Man- Bobby Jones
NBA TITLE!!!!

My personal favorite however is the 2000-2001 Sixers squad. Ahh good times.

I also know there was a very good Sixers team led by Wilt in 1966(?), but I really have no knowlege of that team whatso ever other than the Wilt factor

Honestly, the 00-01 Sixers shouldn't even be compared to the 82-83 Championship squad in any shape or form. Maybe heart but that's about it. The only possible Sixers team is probably in the Wilt era in which I have no knowledge on as well. But other than that, I don't think any of the Sixers teams prior to this squad(not naming the Wilt era) or in the future will be as great as this team.

Btw, even though that pic is from the 01-02 season [IMG] us being championship contenders surely does bring back good memories. What went wrong? [IMG]

Yeah the 01 Sixers obviously arn't as good as the 83 Sixers, but still that was probably the funnest basketball team to watch ever(For me anyway) so for that I think they deserve some recognition. [IMG]

i still ask myself how a team containing lynch, snow and hill ever made it to the finals, that has to be the crappest team to ever make the nba finals which is a great achievement in itself

No comparison the 00-01 team made it to the finals,. and quite frankly if you exclude the first game got dominated. They also made it in a year where the east was relatively weak. The team of the 80’s was just incredible one of the greatest big men of all time in Moses Malone, and the greatest small forward of all time in Julius Erving. If you put that roster against the 2001 76ers they 01 Sixers would be dominated not to mention Cheeks and Andre Toney which was by the far the greatest back court duo in 76ers history.

The 83 Sixers weren't the only ones to win a title. The 67 squad won a title under Wilt and the 56 team also won a title.

I'm not asking anyone to pick between the two I mentioned. I still theink the 01 squad was a top 5 Sixer team of all time.

Ofcourse it's the 1983 Sixers,it's considered the best team ever by many (I think so also cause the competition was so much harder before)
