Clippers W Toronto W @ Toronto W @ Miami L Cleveland L New Orleans/Okla Cty W @ Milwaukee W @ New York W Portland W @ Boston W Porjected Record: 11-5 What are you predictions for the first month? We might get a surprise win over Miami but might get that upset lost to Charlotte. It could go either way, the projected record isn’t necessarily my prediction because honestly I think we will lose one the two games to Toronto and at the same time beat the Cavaliers. See what I'm saying? If predicting our record on games we “should” win our record would be 11-5. If we actually get better than that once the month comes to an end I would be very ecstatic needless to say.
im going to say more like 12-4, i think philly is very underrated this year and they will surprise alot of people.
I started to predict but then I actually saw that 14 of those games are winnable.Am I just dumb or a homer?
Milwaukee W- Bucks will need to work out some team chemistry with the new guys Simmons, Bogut, and Ford coming back. Meanwhile, we've pretty much kept all our guys together. Oh, and Iverson has field days against them. @ Detroit L- Regardless of whether or not Larry Brown is there, Detroit is still the Eastern Conference Champion. Plus, they've subtly gotten better and we weren't able to beat them during the first round. Charlotte W- I hope our guys don't blow it. @ Indiana L- Great defensive team and with Artest coming back, the Pacers are looking stronger than ever. This will definitely be a close game though, its a toss up in my opinion, since we match up pretty well with them. Dallas L- They've got depth, we don't. L.A. Lakers W- I wonder if the Lakers will figure out the triangle offense by this time. Anyway, I see us taking it. Right now, the Lakers are in disaray without a legit frontcourt- Webber and Dalembert get the nod over Mihm and Brown. L.A. Clippers W- There's a lot of chemistry issues with the Clippers since they have three ball hoggers on that team with Maggette, Mobley, and Cassell. Plus, Shaun Livingston is out for the first month so they really don't have that much of a bench either. Toronto W- We have the advantage in matchups against them. Plus, we'll be able to take advantage of the fact that they have no legit center. @ Toronto W- Same as above. @ Miami L- Even with Miami's issue with team chemistry, bottom line is they still have a lot of talent. Cleveland L- With Marshall, Hughes, and Jones, they've become a team to be reckoned with. They've improved their starting lineup so they match up well with us there, but their bench is a concern. Might be a close one. New Orleans/Okla Cty W- Nothing to worry about. @ Milwaukee W- ...Iverson's field day. @ New York L- I'm one of those believers that Brown will somehow get this team working, although I want him to fail so much. Still, this is another tossup depending on Brown's situation and how he'll fair with a bunch of players that all need the ball. Portland W- Sorry, but again nothing to worry about. They're a bottom of the league team trying to rebuild. @ Boston W- Bias is having a workout here. Record- 10 and 6.
I think those prediction are pretty accurate Aznx, especially the outcome of the Knicks game. While the 76ers are probably favorites as of NOW to win that game, I?m still iffy about that game. Whether Brown is there or not the Sixers always tend to have problems with those damn Knickerbockers. I just don't get it. Honestly, again I think they will lose to the Knicks. As far as Brown getting this team on the right track, I don't see that happening till late in the 1st half of the season to the early 2nd half. What this does for us is give us a good lead in the AD so it won?t be as bad when the Knicks start charging at us by post-All-Star weekend.
I think the Sixers will go 12-4 over the first month. There are some close games, but a lot of the teams have made significant changes in the off season, whereas we have kept a pretty stable core. Our talent and team chemistry alone should se us win 12 games in the first month.

Clippers W Toronto W @ Toronto W @ Miami L Cleveland W New Orleans/Okla Cty W @ Milwaukee L @ New York W Portland L @ Boston W Record: 10-6 I think this is a relatively month, but we lose some games we are expected to win, and win some games we are expected to lose that’s just how the NBA goes. I think we can have any where from 12 to 8 wins at the end of the month. One key though will be staying healthy we need a healthy Webber I am watching the 76ers game right now, and he is looking great, and looking like he is fully recovered. We could potentially have four offensive weapons in Salmons, Iverson, Webber, and Iguodala if they all stay healthy. I don’t think scoring is going to be a problem for us this year.

I honestly think the 76ers are going to start off rusty. When you look at how many holes were in the preseason line up then you would figure out that the result frmo this will be a slow start. Also new teams usually take a while to start clicking, the Rockets were that way last year. They started ok below everyones expectations at first and eventually they met expectations and became a very good team. The Sixers may take some time to make up for the early absences of some players, so a month later don't be discouraged if their record turns out to be something you didn't expect.
