Let me just say I'm not a Barkley fan, so feel free to disagree. I just think that some of his comments just get under my skin. If Kenny Smith makes an intelligent comment, Barkley interrupts with something ridiculously ignorant, and NEGATIVE. His comments always have words like "yeah, but they can't....", "what I don't like.........", "the problem is.......". If that's bad enough, his comments on race in the NBA are at times disgusting. I just don't care much for him as an analyst. On the other hand, Steven A. is brilliant. I respect his opinion, and he always has something intelligent to say. I also find him very funny. Anyway, who wins the award MOST OUT SPOKEN TV ANALYST.............................

    Skip Bayless wins it.

I think some examples of Charles stupidity and SAS brilliance would add more to the debate. I'm especially curious to hear your comments about SAS. I've never liked his journalism, I definitely cannot stand his show (the first couple of episodes were good), and if it were up to me his initials would be re-arranged in a different order.

Okay.......I remember that one time Barkley compared Kobe to O.J. Simpson during Kobe's trial lol. That's just something you don't do on national television[IMG] . While I don't agree with everything Steven A says, he gets his point across alot better than Sir Charles. Is Skip that white guy from Cold Pizza? If so, he Steven A owns him lol.

Yeah Skip is the more annoying guy on Cold Pizza, but he is more outspoken than SAS, in my opinion. Even though he knows he's on the wrong side of an argument he'll still argue that point. SAS, just resorts to screaming far too, often for my taste, and it makes him less credible.

Charles Barkley has the personality you love or hate. I don't agree with everything he says, but he has some great quotes and tells it how it is.

I'd take Bill Walton over all of them. Stephen A. is needs ridalin just to put his sentance fragments together, Charles can't go five words without cursing or crapping all over someone, and Skip, well, he's Skip. Give me the crazy old hippy and his "THROW IT DOWN, BIG MAN" [IMG] [IMG]

Did you ever get to listen to any of Walton's interviews while he was at UCLA? It reminds me of a classic line from one of the finer movies I've seen, a movie that, like so much vintage wine, gets better with age. It went something like:

    tuh-tuh-tuhday JUNIOR!

Hearing his stutter made me think of him as quite the unlikely candidate for the regularity (note: I do not use the word excellence) with which we see him on television. I respect his views, and at least he makes it fun. As for sports journalists on television, there isn't a one of them I find even somewhat palatable. They all peddle the same garbage, they all narrow their views down to the lowest common denominator, and the vast majority spread themselves so thin as to cost them any semblance of respectability.

I regret many of their opinions, and try my best to just leave my own out of the picture on things I don't understand as well as those that have followed these situations for their own enjoyment of gratification. Those are the folks who know the most about these things, ask any fan on this board.

I like Steven A better then any other analyst because he speaks the truth and knows what he's talking about. Skip is alright but Woody is a complete idiot. Yea he's funny but he picked the broncos to win the superbowl. Mariotti, Michael Smith, and Adande are some of my favorites.

Stephen A is the best analyst there is in my opinion...Bill Walton is retarded, and should never be allowed on any sports show again.

Barkley hands down if they were to have a debate. Steven A. is just loud, when he has his debates with Legler and Anthony the only reason you listen to "Screamin A." is because you cant hear what the others are saying. Not that i would want to. Barkley is definitely somebody whose been through the struggle of the NBA and is one of the greats so he should know what he's talking about.

Charles does act like he's always right, but it's easy when he picks San Antonio every time. Technically he's right.

Woody Paige is freakin' hilarious but he does come up with some out of no-where type of facts. But I would take Paige over Steven A. I'd take Mariotti over Steven A.

I dislike both of them as analysts for the same reasons. There's no subtlety or moderation in their views. Everything is black and white to them.

    Barkley of course!
I don't know how Steven A. Smith got his job. He only stares at the camera and screams his gibberish.

lol.......we should put Steven A., Barkley, Walton, and Tom Tolbert in the same room and see what happens...hahaha.....but I actually like both, I don't agree with a lot of the things they say, but it's always interesting to hear there insight (or lack there of).

Both aren't good at giving the facts, but they sure are entertaining. I guess it's all taste, cause I think Barkley is hilarious and Walton is just plain annoying.
