Looks like it... Najeh Davenport said on Sirius Satellite Radio yesterday that the Eagles have called the Packers about a trade. They've also talked to the Dolphins about Lamar Gordon.

I think the Eagles should call Denver about Ron Dayne. Or look at Sammy Morris, too.

The Bucs have both Michael Pittman and Charlie Garner sitting behind the Cadillac. I wonder if Garner would play for the Eagles again?

The Packers won't trade Davenport, though. Never happen.

The Dolphins have been looking to trade Gordon. It appears he & Travis Minor are the odd men out.

Philly does have a habit a getting guys who once played for 'em to reup for a 2nd tour of duty.

Even then, I don't think they'd do it. Both Green and Davenport are free agents after this year. My guess is, the front office is going to play them off each other by making one offer. Whoever takes it gets to stay.

Getting rid of Davenport and leaving Green as the only potential starting back would be pretty risky, in my opinion. Not only financially, but injury wise as well. If Green goes down and Davenport is in Philly, I don't see the Pack winning many games with Tony Fisher as the "go to" guy.
