What y'all think of my team? I play in a head-to-head league where two players stats count for each position. there were 12 teams in the league. This is my first year in fantasy so I don't know much. I don't have too many players who can play multi-positions. Does that matter? Also, I may have too many SF and not enough SG. Should I make a trade? Thanks for the advice.

    PG Steve Francis
    PG Brevin Knight
    SG Eddie Jones (also SF)
    SG Desmond Mason (also SF)
    SF Lebron James
    SF Ron Artest
    PF Kenyon Martin
    PF Joe Smith
    C Andrew Bogut
    C Eddie Curry
    Ut Lamar Odom (SF)
    Ut Caron Butler (SF)
    Bn Chris Duhon (PG)
    Bn Chris Anderson (PF, C)
    Bn Kenny Thomas (PF)

You should be ok, but you need gaurd help. Knight might lose his starting job so you would be stuck with Francis and Duhon who might not start all season. In this situation I would offer Labron and Butler to the same fool for say Mcgrady and a good point gaurd, or Kobe and a good point gaurd, Maybe even Vince Carter and a good point gaurd. Either way I would try to trade Labron and another small forward for Depth. Get as much as you can for him. There is somebody in your league that would give you Dirk and Kidd or something like that for Labron and a filler player. Find that sucker and take him. DO NOT sell James for anything less than two fantasy studs, just realize that somebody will overpay for him, and it can create you some depth and win you this league.

Well....it's not exactly what I would call a good tema. One thing you really need to do is get an outside scorer. No one on that team can hit the trey consistently, so you're looking to lose that category week in and week out. But, looking at your team, in my opinion, there's not really a lot of trade bait there. The only players worth trading for on that team are LeBron, Francis, and Artest. Aside from that, you have Brevin Knight, and while he was good last year, won't start this year. Your starting frontcourt is weak, with the only worthwhile player there being Kenyon Martin. Joe Smith is washed up, Bogut might not start, and Curry won't do anything but score for you. Your utility guys aren't bad, but Butler might not even start, and Odom can be an enigma. However, Odom, to me, is very good and should be good for you, but just beware. And...to put it bluntly, your bench is pathetic. I hope, for your sake, you don't get any injuries.

Personally, you need to make some trades. Desmond Mason is useless fantasy wise, and will be even moreso this year with the addition of Bobby Simmons. Try to find some schmuck in your league and try and get hold of someone like JR Smith. He can fill your need for a long ball threat.

Also, look in the FAs for the name James Jones. The kid is going to breakout this year for Phoenix, especially with the injury to Amare. He can fill it up from the arc and has been tearing it up in the preseason. If he's there, drop a scrub like Chris Andersen and snag him.

Beyond that, I'm really not sure. Your team has a lot of holes in it (lack of 3pt shooting, no good C, potential lack of shot blocking and rebounding), and it could be hard fix them all. You can at least fix some of them with smart trading and looking on the FA wire for players, like James Jones, who will be looking to break out this year.
