This guy is arguably doing the best job as far as GM's go this offseason. He needs at least like a 2-3 year extension.
He's done a very good job of making headlines, that's for sure I think Larry has done an above average job so far. Not great, but good. Getting the #1 pick helped a lot, make no mistake about that. The signing of Simmons was very slick, and keeping Danny G was a good move as well. I'm going to give some time on the Magloire deal before I say it was a great move, because I think there are some variables there that I want to see play out before I give my final judgement. At the same time, he seems to've sorta stabbed people in the back already. That sounds harsh as hell, but there's some truth to it. I was very angry with the way he handled Terry Porter's situation, and the way Desmond Mason talked about his situation didn't sound too good. Larry has done a nice job so far, but let's give him some more time before we declare him the next Branch Rickey.
He's done an admirable job. There's no disputing that. He's given new life to the Bucks and they have a very promising future...They're a fun team to watch and I think they'll be very competitive in the Eastern Conference, and might even take us by surprise like Chicago did last season...
I read somewhere that the Bucks extended his contract through 08-09, I'll try and find a link for it.
