Ali G ads

Hey been reading and enjoying the convo but thought I'd post to share a nugget. Have any of you seen the new Ali G. commercials? I like the Nash one. Ali G is hilarious. I like the one with Kenny, Charles, and Ernie the best.

Ali G is funny as hell. He's really underrated-you hear about Dave Chapelle, but rarely Ali G.

Ali G is a pimp. I've been a fan of his and Borat(the Kazakstanian person in his shows) for over 5 years now. For the people that don't know Borat, check out the European Music Awards this week if you can, he's hosting the awards ceremony and if there is no censoring, believe me you will be in stiches after listening to him.

Hahaha u talkin Canada. I only seen the Kobe and Nash one and they're both hilarious. I can't quite remember how he stated the air in the Kobe commercial. Something with the air in the ball and how come we don't bounce or some ish. I only seen both of them once. But the questions he ask is funny as hell.

 

It's a moment like this that I'm proud to be British. LOL

You guys should definitely check out the episodes of his show where he goes to America, the ones on HBO. I love the Bruno skits, if you want to make an NBA player as his natural, uncomfortable best, sit him down with Bruno for some funkyzeit.

The question is are they in on the joke?
If so, they got good acting skills.
However, must athletes suck at acting (even MJ sucks at it), so I tend to think they're NOT in on the joke.
But then you're telling me Nash and Kobe never heard of Ali G? I don't buy that either - the guy was on HBO and is a bit too famous now to fly under the radar. So they were in on it. I bet they did a few takes, but give Kobe an Oscar. he really looks like he doesn't "get it"
