Anybody see the ridiculously cheap shot Ronnie Price landed on Leandro Barbosa in Sunday's game? Comin' down the floor on an outlet pass, Price clearly elbowed him right in the head. Just cheap.

That's some real Kings basketball for you right there.

If you missed it, check this out. It's on the highlight video in the middle of the page.

I'm not sure if it was intentional, it was happening pretty quickly. I feel sorry for Barbosa, but the guy was flying through the air and probably wasn't aiming for Barbosa or anything.

I was amazed by the Sun's offense, it was so selfless and sooo many hot shooters it was nuts.

I definitely don't call the Suns the back seat in the Pacific, I think we'll see the Kings there before we see the Suns. With that doormat defense they play. But hey, who's counting?

And if you look at that flying elbow, you see Price turn his head as he's about to throw that elbow, looked pretty intentional to me, but what do I know?

And actually, I was just joking, I don't think the Kings are cheap, now that Divac has retired anyway, and with Webber gone. I actually see a more workmanlike team than they've had in a while.

I tend to agree, if he hadn't turned his head so early I wouldn't even consider it an issue. But since he *did* turn his head, it makes it look like it could have been... well, not intentional exactly but at least reflecting of an uncaring and unprofessional attitude. Possibly affected by the fact that his team was losing.

As for the Kings and any cheapness, definitely now with divac and webber gone--they're a different team in terms of basketball but also in terms of overall "personality". I think the change in personality is definitely for the better...

No disrespect to Webber and Divac, but sometimes they got downright dirty. Although, they played such soft games, I guess they had to.

On the part of Price, I think unprofessional is a good way of putting it, he probably just got out of his head with the losing, and obviously that's something he needs to get used to, because nobody wins them all in these league, especially not the Kings, who I don't see making all that much of a splash in the playoffs, if they make it. Teams out west are getting more and more competitive, and this year will be no exception.

Anyway, forgive and forget, we all know who the better point guard in that matchup is, so what's the big deal I guess?
