If we don't make the playoffs chances are, that Monty is gone. Montgomery isn't the smartest with bench substitutions and has been very soft as to benching the Fish. We'd most likely see Monty, Fisher, and if possible, Foyle gone.

Chances are that Dunleavy is going to get his exntension soon. Unfortuneatly, we still have Pietrus and the wings and if he is to overcome Dunleavy, which will be hard to do because of the front office and coaching staff's love of Dunleavy, we will have Dun-dun riding the pine. We'd have to trade him to a team in desperate need of a versatile Sf, 3 pt shooter like Charlotte. While they are still building, they need center pieces.

However, if Monty leaves and were to promote Elie, or to get Paul Silas per se, some of these things would be different. Fisher would get less time, these guys don't monkey around and would tell Fisher to pass the ball and not dribble the time out. Sadly the rest of the staff are Dunleavy lovers. I met Keith Smart over the summer and got to ask him questions about the Warriors [IMG] I asked who were the most important bench players on the Warriors. He said Zarko and Pietrus. Glady Fisher wasn't on their, but he did make it clear that Pietrus will not start. He said something along the lines of
"Mickael needs to know that he is not going to be a star here when we have Jason and Mikey (Dunleavy) here. He is vital to the Warriors as a bench player.... blah... blah... blah.

Maybe we would see more Biedrins, he has been doing good as a starter and is averaging 7 boards a game in pre-season action playing 21 minutes. Also, we saw when he is a starter, he gets fairly high scoring doses for a young big man. If Foyle keeps on getting hurt and sitting out, I'd be glad to see Biedrins play a lot.

Also sorry to go OT, but I wanted to round out some of my thoughts

if warriours didnt make the playoffs id see the coach outta there, i wouldnt also be surprised to see JRich or Dunleavy be traded. I mean its BDiddy's team and u can get big name for JRich if u get lucky enough. But if GS dont make it this year id see them free up some cap for mr.NENE

That's a little drastic but understandable. Even if we all did kill ourselves over this, the Warriors would still find some way to get killed worse before halftime if our offense isn't there and we play our typical matador defense. If we lost again this season, well I would find that tragic, but humorous.

Tragic, because there's just no hope, it's like neverending death. [IMG]

Here's a small ray of hope for pessimists: The White Sox winning a world series this year, Red Sox winning a world series. Wow, when was the last time those franchises ever saw something like that? This may have nothing to do with baseball or teams named after various colored clothing you wear on your feet, but it's the Warriors time to do the improbable... MAKE THE PLAYOFFS SINCE 94! And if that time never comes in this decade... well it will be tragic but humorous. In other words, I should be sad, but well entertained. I dunno about the rest of you.

Actually, I've felt anger, but I think that had to do more with Jim Barnett and his aww shucks demeanor and Dunleavy shill.
