The next great NBA player was on the verge of becoming a great NFL player — displaying unbelievable moves, catches and uncanny speed for a 6-7, 225-pound high school wide receiver. James often has wondered what it would have been like to play for his favorite teams, Florida State and the Dallas Cowboys.

“If I wasn’t playing basketball, I’d be playing football,” James said. “I’m a football player playing basketball.” </div>

judging by the article it almost seems as if lebron would have rather played in the NFL.

LeBron could make an NFL roster at reciever easily. He was an all state reciever in high school as well.

he wuold of probabaly made it to the nfl with ease because size is a huge factor to many colleges. on my football team we havea 6'4 reciever this kid barely got any time in his sophmore and junior year at receiver it was moslty in specials and the kid already has scolarships from big name schools (dont get me wrong hes a hell of a reciever proabably all nj) and hes getting recruited by usc. i mean lebron has 3 inches on the kid on my team and he judgin by the article he got a lot of time his sophmore and junior year.
