He was on WEEI today and confirmed that he would be the starter. The trick is that he will be pulled quickly and will sit on the bench until Pierce takes a rest. So I guess Doc is trying to have it both ways with Ricky, by starting him and also keeping him as the anchor for the B-Unit. Cool with me. Your thoughts?

It's going to be tough on them adjusting to two different units at the same time. I just hope my man Orien can handle the workload.

Well, obviously Davis is fit to be a starter. But I honestly think the team would do better having him come off the bench, like he did last year. It would be great having him provide that spark again, with his outstanding amount of energy and offensive skills. He helped the Celts have one of the best benches in the league last year. It was nice to win last night but the second unit did not take part in the win, and I don't see them being able to win all the time without a good bench, and to have one I think Ricky needs to be the leader of the second unit again. And maybe this year he would get enough credit to receive the Sixth Man Award, which he truly deserved.

We missed y'all 'round here. Seems you've been busy today. Your comment on Pierce was spot on for your predictions for this year. And yes, Ricky proved a lot to us last night. The guy is just brilliant.
Why Thank You, I missed all of you guys as well. Yes, I have been a little busy today, I had to catch up on all i'v missed. I appreciate your nice comments about my feelings towards Pierce and Davis.. Hope to chat with you much more throughout the season.
