There are some rumors going around about the bulls having some interest in ben wallace this off-season. They say that with all of our cap space we might make a major run for him, i personally don't want it to happen. Big Ben is 31 right now and will be 32 next off-season, he'd be sure to command a 5 year deal that would last him till he's 37 or 38 i don't know if his bday falls during the season. The combination of him and chandler down low also wouldn't supply us w/ a great amount of offense, I would much rather have nene and i was wondering how you guys felt.

You are worried about our offense with both him and Chandler in, I think I backcourt will score enough that we can afford to have two shut down defenders. Also, imagine how we would dominate the boards with them in. It would be amazing to watch.
I also think Wallace and Chandler together would not give us enough offense. You cannot expect our guards to carry the whole load of the offense. It just wouldn't work in the long run i think. You always need a reliable scorer inside to keep defenses honest and give the outside players more space. I would rather go for Nene too, who is way younger. Give him the contract that an healthy eddy would have gotten had he stayed with us. He may not have the offensive moves eddy has, but i think he can become the better player because he's so much better defensively.
I would not mind it at all though he is getting up there in age he keeps himself in great condition. Reminds me sort of like Karl Malone, who kept his body at NBA form until his early 40’s and even when he went down with an injury during his stint with the Lakers it was a freak accident not his body breaking down. We have more than enough offense in our back court to compensate for Chandler and Wallace, not to mention Chandler is young and very well might develop a offensive game.
Ben Wallace will probably not leave Detroit..When you think Pistons first thing that comes to your mind is Big Ben..i would hate to se him leave Pistons as for Bulls--i agree..i think that Nene would be a better fit since he's younger and all however..he cannot play C and neither can Chandler
like most of u guys i prefer nene, it would be great to have chandler and ben on the defensive end. it would be also good for chandler to learn off ben and help him to become better defensively, but dam we need some scoring down low
Wallace is not coming into chicago. Any team would want Ben but he wont come to chicago by choice. BUt at the same time you never know. GO BULLS!
