<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"With Mourning healthy and playing well, and Barron developing as a reliable third option at center, the Heat is still exploring the possibility of trading Michael Doleac, possibly to the Atlanta Hawks. Doleac is in the second year of a four-year, $11 million contract and would help Atlanta make up for the loss of Jason Collier, who died suddenly two weeks ago. The Hawks, because they are under the salary cap, can acquire Doleac without having to return a player to the Heat, but would likely offer the Heat a second-round draft pick." If he goes to the Hawks it might help them but It wont be significant, he would be a good backup but why did we bring in Esteban Batista, and John Edwards then?

I think they should keep Doleac...I mean, they're judging Barron's game from training camp and preseason...thats not an accurate assessment as to how he'll play during the season...I do believe that either Mourning or Shaq are gonna go thru some nagging injuries, and Doleac has proven to be a capable fill-in at center...

Well, if SVG & Riley think they've seen enough of Barron that they believe he can replace Doleac, then I'd take their word for it.
