    Matchup to Watch
    [IMG][IMG]
    TJ Ford vs Allen Iverson
    NO STATS, First Game

This will be a matchup of probably the two fastest players in the NBA. It will be up to TJ to hold Iverson under his 45 PPG average, he averaged against the TJless Bucks Last season.

    GMan's Predictions
Finally the most anticipated day of the year for Bucks fans are here. On paper, this should be a very improved team, with playoffs in their sights. But the game is not played on paper...will they show up on the court? They'll be missing Joe Smith, so #1 pick Andrew Bogut will get the start alongside new C Jamaal Maglorie. Iverson will do his thing...if he scores less than 40, and a role player like Salmons or Iguoldala don't go off...Bucks should win

    Bucks 101
    Sixers 95

Nice preview gmanspack. Haven't seen you around in a while but I guess that now is as good a time as any to make a comeback.

It'll be interesting to see how Bogut does in his debut and how Ford will do in his first regular season back. Michael Redd will have to do a solid job on Andre Igoudala, and I would expect Jamaal Magloire to make his presence felt in the paint.

However, the Bucks are on the road and Webber will be able to draw Bogut out to the perimeter where he's uncomfortable.

    Sixers by 8.

GREAT preview, man! Good to see you back, ready for a promising year of Bucks basketball [IMG] This should be a good way to start the season for Milwaukee-the Sixers aren't too much better than the Bucks, so it won't be overwhelming for the new guys, and we should be able to run quite a bit, and see how T.J and the gang looks on a fast break. Looking forward to this game for sure!!! [IMG]

55-50 Sixers lead at the half. Charlie Bell has given us a nice lift with 9 pts off the bench, but the interior defense doesn't look too good so far...

Is Bogut guarding Webber in this game? Just going by the boxscore Webber is doing whatever he wants out there.

I like the production out of TJ so far, 4 assists in just 9 minutes. Bucks are in striking distance, and I doubt Redd and Simmons will continue to shoot a combined 5-15 in the second half.

I think so-it's not even on t.v in Madison [IMG] I have to listen to the radio

They've been saying that Webber's been doing just about whatever he wants, though. Last I heard he had 14 pts already. I was worried about our halfcourt/interior D, and so far we haven't done much defensively, sounds like. They said Philly was shooting over 50% for a good while...

It's seems like a close, exciting game so far. I'm only watching some of the game from NBATV, but there were nice highlights. Andre Iguodala welcomed Bogut to the NBA with a facial, and T.J. Ford is doing nicely so far and looking for his teammates. He had a nice pass where he penetrated and fed Bogut for an open two-hand jam. It might even go into overtime. Since the 76ers play in the Atlantic I'm rooting for Milwaukee.

    Go Bucks!

Looks like overtime, baby! I'm just happy for my boy T.J. I was hoping he'd slip to #9, but Sweetney wasn't too bad. Anyway, it should be interesting to see who will step up during crunch time.

All I'm going to say is, the Bucks don't deserve that win. Clearly, they won because of the stupid decisions made by the Sixers. I'm utterly disappointed by the Sixers game ending performance, and I can't wait till the Sixers stomp the Bucks at the next game.
