I thought the Packers looked bad against the Patriots, but that was nothing compared to the supreme beating the Rams put on the Lions tonight. What happened? I'll tell you... Matt Millen, the genius of geniuses, decided that taking another wide receiver in the first round was a better idea than improving the offensive line. WTF? If Harrington or Garcia can walk tomorrow, I'll be surprised. They've got talent on both sides of the ball, but with no 0-line (like the Pack), they are going to be SCREWED this year. Like I said to my brother, last night, this is not a sign of how good the Rams are rather how bad Detroit is. I knew Detroit would lose but did not think they'd get stomped that bad. With all the talent Detrot's O allegedly has and as average as the Rams D is, it should have been closer. I thought the Black jerseys worn by Detroit were stylin'
I got to watch the game and thought Detroit showed flashes of talent. It didn't show in the stats, but in a few plays. Of course, that means nothing if you can't convert to points. If they put it together, though, lookout.
Harrington did show a flash every now and then. I still don't think he can get it done and I am not high on their defense either. They did get whooped up though.
I feel bad for Harrington. The guy was running for his life last night. The Lions' offensive line makes the Packers' line look solid. Not pretty... I really think Harrington could be really good if he were playing behind, say, the Chiefs' offensive line. Or any line that gives him more than 0.8 seconds to find a receiver and throw the ball.
Butler got beat time and time again. I see Harrington having a bad year because he cant get any protection. The lions were no chance vs the rams d line
I can safely say that Miami will not have the Worst OL in the league this year after watching the thrashing. What makes it even worse is the Rams D is not exactly stellar. Hell; average would be a compliment.
i think the team with the most sacks will be the bears because Orton is gonna hold the ball a long time and they gave up tons of sacks last year, so the dolphins wont be the worst

As of now the Bears are screwed with a rookie QB but if he shows signs of playing well the future should be bright for them. As for me or PA which ever one you were referring to. I felt bad for them and the fans. AP has been releasing articles nationwide about how AWFUL they looked on National Television. The Detroit press is having a field day, too. I doubt even a die hard Lions fan could dispute anything I've said about that game. It was just plain brutal.

Maybe if Harrington plays well but honestly the only thing im really scared of is their massive front 4, they may give our new O-line a hard time, Their secondary has Dre Bly and R.W Mcquarters whom are both pretty good players but I don't see Kennoy Kenedy as an improvement over Brock marion, he lacks coverage abillity but is a devastating Hitter, Boss Baily is an awsome Linebacker who I'd love to have especially in this new defense, but the others there are lacking to say the least, The defense is gonna make some plays no doubt about it but are they enough to contain one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL? I have my doubts.
