<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Ben Gordon?s poor shooting during preseason can be chalked up to the second-year guard being a slow starter. But Bulls coach Scott Skiles thinks Gordon already is a marked man.

?Ben is going to be a target for every team,? Skiles said following Tuesday?s practice at the Berto Center. ?The way that he did what he did last year in such an explosive fashion, the reputation has to be if you can stop Ben, you may be able to beat the Bulls, and he?s encountered some of that in exhibition.?

Gordon was the first rookie to win the NBA?s Sixth Man Award, but in preseason he shot just 33.3 percent from the field and averaged 6.9 points.

?People are now crowding him all over the place, seeing if he can handle the ball and go by people on the dribble,? Skiles said. ?They?re putting more size on him, trying to challenge his shot. Now it will be up to Ben to make adjustments, but I?m confident he will.?

Thomas tuned in: The Bulls? biggest question mark heading into the regular season has to be Tim Thomas. Acquired from New York in the Eddy Curry trade, Thomas can be an effective scorer, but he missed most of preseason with ankle injuries.

?Tim?s been good the last two days,? coach Scott Skiles said. ?I think he?s getting fully healthy. He can get some minutes if he wants them. He?s a very talented guy. Because of his time off, he?s had a little adjustment to the way we prepare and try to work on our defense and all that.?</div>

About the Thomas thing....he looked ok tonight, had an odd shot selection at times though, especially those 3's.
