<div align="center"><div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jason Richardson scored 28 points and Davis added 15 points and seven assists before leaving with a strained left hamstring during the decisive third quarter of a 122-97 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night.

"You've got to give them credit, because they got after us, and we went the other way," Atlanta coach Mike Woodson said. "I don't think it was just Joe. It was whoever handled the ball for us. Everyone struggled to make plays with the basketball. That kind of takes the starch out of your offense."

Marvin Williams, the No. 2 overall pick in last June's draft, had 12 points in his NBA debut for the Hawks, who led 65-55 with 8? minutes left in the third quarter. Golden State made a 44-14 run over the next 12 minutes, ensuring Atlanta's fourth straight loss in Oakland.

"We were just inexperienced," Johnson said. "We had a nice lead, and when they started making their run, everybody was trying to do it themselves instead of sticking with the game plan. ... We were inexperienced at a time we needed good leadership."

Johnson, acquired from the Suns in the offseason in a controversial trade, vented his frustration with a flagrant foul on Pietrus with 3:48 to play.

Tyronn Lue had 16 points for the Hawks, who lost their fifth straight opener -- all on the road.</div>

According to the box score and stats Josh Childress was our PG and that shows the franchise really does consider him a SG right? I was pretty pissed not about the loss but moving JC to PG and letting JJ do his thing at 2. JC should've been SG and Johnson should've ran point, that's why he was brought in.

On another not Marvin had a good game so Im happy about that.

JJ did play the point and Childress played the 2. Not only did I watch the game but I dont see any indication in the box score that JJ didnt play the point. Lue played point more than JJ did though, once Lue came in JJ slided down to the 2/3. He didnt play much after he threw Pietrus to the floor, I'm surprised he only got a flagrant foul for that and I'm even more surprised he would do that just a few months after he broke his eye socket on a flagrant foul.

I never knew about him throwing Pietrus to the floor but thats not the JJ I've seen play, and I forgot to mention Lue. He had like 16 off the bench if Im not mistaken so there were bright spots in this game and there was stuff I didnt like.
